Feel sorry for Stuart Leach as he was definitely MOM against Llandovery but Craig Price has also been playing well all season so nice to see him back and he deserves to start. Gutted I can't be there to support our bois but going on holiday on saturday so will hopefully be raising a celebratory glass of wine at the end of the game!  Big smileThumbs Up

It's started already : posted today on the Ponty forum.:

Quote The WRU laws stipulate a regional player must have played five times for the Premiership team (in the league) to be selected for the Play Off games. Gareth Davies has only appeared twice for Llanelli in the Premiership (v Cardiff and Swansea) this season. Have the WRU given him special dispensation to play on Saturday?

Quote Turks will probably have some kind of special dispensation to allow it from the WRU

I wonder if one of their players will be refereeing again?

Unless the ref starts strongly and shows he is going to take no crap around the breakdown area then it could end up being a mess

As for Cawdor , I thought he had played more than twice for the rfc this year?

average age of the match day squads for the game llanelli avg 23 ponty avg 27 shows that one team is using the prem for developing players, while the other is stuck in a time warp

For all their "we are the pont" nonsense most of that team was developed and played for other clubs hardly any ponty youth development in there .

Perhaps on the bench a couple of times to make up the 5? it would be nice to put the Ponty dig back in the box!

The Ponty crew never moaned when they played a West Wales select team in there both games at the Parc,on both occasions Llanelli team were decimated by international calls and regional calls .

They cannot understand the Premiership is a development league .

I,m playing cricket up at Baglan tomorrow,if the the game finishes early enough hope to drive up to support the Llanelli team .

All the best to Pows and all the squad for tomorrow night .

Quite surprised that Owen Williams isn't playing with Jordan at 15. The regions only chance of silverware this year.

As you say, very few players develped internally and 3 Blues player in their 23 by the look of it.

By contrast we develop players and that is the case for the 10 or so current Scarlets squad members in our 23.

My first visit to Ponty in a very long time. Looking forward to the playing side, but rather less so to Sardis Road. Still a very early start tomorrow, spend some time at the Royal Welsh, then a few pints is Ponty's finest venues to anaesthetise myself to the predicatable 'banter'.

Haven't got a clue how many supporters we are taking to this game though.
