Remember to put in a reminder to cancel the subscription with the requisite notice (6 months?).

Subscribed again. £99 though as the discount code wasn't accepted. Still cowboys.

Cant believe commentary last night they called Jarrod Evans Kristian Dacey but mixing up second row Seb Davies for Matthew 'Nipper' Morgan was superb!!!

If anything I’d go for the £4.99 price they offer when you cancel.

I signed up yesterday and the discount code worked for me.  £80. Did you use all capitals?

Can I make a suggestion? Think of an incidental expenditure you have - maybe a regular latte in a coffee shop of your choice, maybe a pint of beer in your favourite pub or just maybe a Blueberry muffin or two for elevenses.

Just cut down on one of these per week and your Premier Sports subscription is paid for. I'm starting my 'moneysaving tips and good advice' web site tomorrow - feel free to subscribe.

Yes, except if I've ordered a blueberry muffin, that's what I expect to get. Ditto a coffee.

I expect a decent picture. Decent punditry and commentary. And dedicated Premier Sports production when in Ireland or South Africa. Not leaching off the Irish or South African coverage.

Well Rob I have gone with a middle ground decision. Cancelled the joke coverage for a year, bitten the bullet to cover the first months fixtures, cancelled again & still had the muffin. Only issue I now have is Cardiff away & Edinburgh home which I may have to watch in a delayed coverage or highlights.

I pay £99 a year, not just to watch the Scarlets but to enjoy any URC match that I can watch, regardless of the dodgy punditry I regard it as outstanding value for money.  I've  already spent over £100 to watch the Scarlets down the Parc for two matches.  In the same period I've watched half a dozen games as a neutral observer on Premier and its not yet the end of September.
Keep the faith

Yes you are getting good value by watching that many games. I however do not put myself through watching any other game than the Scarlets & only then when its not on S4C or BBC Wales. For any other games I want to watch over a weekend I watch the welsh game covered by S4C/BBC Wales or the Premiership shown on BT Sport which has decent commentators/pundits. One tip I have learnt over the years watching Premier Sport is to do it with sound muted.

Pretty sure they leach off BBC Wales/S4C too.
It's all been cut to the bone. Fewer cameras and crew all round. Just look how many fewer TV trucks you see at PYS now on match day. The car park behind the East Stand used to be full At least 2 artic lorries plus some smaller vehicles and a crane. On Saturday there was only one truck there. No behind the post cameras.

I still buckled and paid though LOL

For all those interested, I will be creating a spreadsheet to illustrate the differences in numbers of trucks, personnel and cameras between URC and EPCR games Wink

I have paid for a year too. I watch a lot of the matches. I have to say that I think that the Scottish games are presented really well in comparison to the Welsh and Irish coverage.

This is probably because they tend to have John Barclay as a pundit.

Try phoning them. Spoke to them yesterday and after a little persuasion got the deal for £80. Happy days. We watch nearly all the rugby so is good value for money. Helps if you are a bit deafWink

Premier sports is being rebranded as ‘Viaplay’ from November 1st.

Not sure whether that will mean better picture and availability on more devices.
