Great photos.

Why is there a bigger area behind the posts on the East side than the posts on the West side? Or is it just the shadow of the West roof that causes it?

Shadow I'd say, if you picture the try line's, they hit the same relative place on the north stand.

Anyone else find it strange that the main entrance comes out further on the right hand side than the left.

I imagine it's not to noticible on the ground, especially if your walking from the left, but I still find it strange looking at it.

I’ve just realised that the orientation of the ground is more or less identical to Stradey.  In other words, the sun will traverse over the ground in almost exactly the same trajectory and time.  I suspect that the height of the West stand will eliminate the worst of the low evening sun.   There should be less of an effect from the wind also.

West and South stands should be quite cozy, but I can imagine those in the North and East getting a bit drenched more than a few times a season.

The roof doesn't seem to project out very far. Is it different in reality (can anyone that's been to the site say?). How much cover will they provide for rain - or are there plans to extend with perspex as in the Liberty?
