I asked this question when I renewed my ST and was told that there was nothing happening this year, not even the motorbike stunt show.
Shows a real lack of urgency to maximise profit, IMO.

It's not always about where you end up, it's about how you get there.

I thought one of the principles behind a new stadium was that we could use it on non-match days to hold major events and to boost the town's economy. What have we got as "events" coming up on the Parc y Scarlets website? The Kit Launch and Christmas and New Year parties! Embarrassing. Questions have to be asked over the role of our events and marketing staff in Parc y Scarlets.

I assume Moony was better at this sort of thing. Has he been replaced or has job just folded into marketing?
It is vital that this arena is used over the summer months.

Agree, it seems that no real attempt has been made to improve this, no major events happening anytime soon, no big acts coming down.

Problem is though that big acts tend to go to Cardiff eg. Bon Jovi last month, Bruce Springsteen next week, Monster trucks ect...

Enjoy does not get many people in due to the quality of acts available.

The place needs to be worked 24/7 from concerts to plays to weddings to funerals to christenings to anything legal  that gets income in-I do feel Rupert Moon was good at events and promotion and we seem to lack that zip now- we should be building usage as each year passes and goodwill grows.

It certainly seems a great place for weddings, Christenings, funerals, parties...as well as fayres and exhibitions...not sure how often that happens though?
Ffos Las seems to cover all these things, they get regular weddings, concerts, outdoor events?cant say Ive noticed any donkey derbies of late? (not sure the groundsman would be too happy mind) and even car boot sales bring in 1000s of people....Scarlets surely has huge demographic advantages compared to Ffos Las, which is 7 miles away from the Llanelli metropolis.. plus we can tap into our 6000+ regular fan base

I just cant work out why no concerts are happenning at all? not even local ones with a few choirs, local musicians and an orchestra..check out noson llawen every other night, the musical talent round these parts is incredible..... but tom jones for goodness sakes is a guaranteed sell out. not sure his fees, but 15000 tickets at £40/50 is £600,000/700,000? concerts for legends sell out in hours

even super furries or one of the umpteen other welsh bands and singers just to test the waters and see if we can make some profits.

we are the only arena west or north of swansea. that covers all of west wales and all of mid wales?

everything is a gamble but with a magnificent stadium, an endless supply of musical talents
a love of music and a shortage of entertainment? its surley a no brainer.

no doubt parc eiras will make a killing
