The Joint Supporters Groups (Cardiff Blues Supporters Club, Friends of Newport Rugby Trust, Ospreys Supporters Club and Crys16 The Scarlets Supporters Trust) are happy and encouraged to confirm that the Welsh Rugby Union Chairman Gareth Davies and Professional Rugby Wales Chief Executive Mark Davies have invited us to a meeting on Saturday 25th April prior to Judgement Day III at the Millennium Stadium.

The Joint Supporters Groups have previously had several meetings with Professional Rugby Wales (formally Regional Rugby Wales) and one meeting with the Welsh Rugby Union and the aim of the meeting is to revive the relationship between the WRU and Supporters Groups. In a ground-breaking meeting this will be the first time that the Joint Supporters Groups, Professional Rugby Wales and the Welsh Rugby Union have jointly met and we hope that this will be the first of many meetings with a long standing relationship.

We will update our members and supporters in due course and in the meantime hope for a great occasion at Judgement Day III.

Keep building those bridges, great effort by all involved. All parties pulling in the same direction can only be beneficial - it's surely what is really "best for Welsh rugby".

A bit more info on tomorrow's proceedings.

We meet from 11:00 until 12:00. CRYS16 will be represented by Neil Bathgate, Dorian Davies & Barrie Jones. We understand that Gareth Davies (WRU) & Mark Davies (PRW) will be present.

We have already forwarded what we believe to be pertinent questions to the respective organisations.

As per usual, the session will be minuted and, once agreed by both parties, minutes will be distributed to members in the early part of next week.

As some of you may remember, the JSG met the WRU in December 2013.

This is somewhat of a departure from that as PRW will also be present.
It's certainly our intention that regular dialogue between the representative bodies of the pro game in Wales continue going forward, and that we, as major stakeholders, are fully involved in this.

This years Judgement Day looks to be a far more exciting event than previous.
Credit due to all parties here.

See you all tomorrow.

Diolch yn fawr iawn am eich cefnogaeth.

Interesting article in the Sunday Times with Steve Bale interviewing Gareth Davies.

It should work been if you're not a subscriber, the paper says. I hope that's true.

It's worth reading right to the end where it says about the need for working with all levels of the game for long term good. "Really developing the regions" caught my eye in particular.

It was certainly a different experience than the last time, but no less professional.

Gareth Davies was with us for 45 minutes as he had to go to Lampeter.

Some may have noticed that he got back to Cardiff in time to be interviewed on S4C during our match.

I think we were all encouraged in that time that we have a very skilled man as "Chair".

It's not going to happen overnight but things will move in the right direction for pro rugby in Wales

We're targeting the early part of this week to get the minutes out to our members.

Diolch yn fawr iawn.

A word for Mark Davies too.
We've met with him several times now, both as Scarlets CEO & now PRW head.

Never less than good value and as honest and open as he can be with us, the supporters.

A great acquisition for Welsh rugby.

It'll be interesting to see who the new CEO of the WRU will be.

We're sure that the skill set will be an improvement.

Minutes of the meeting have been sent out. Are there any members, old and new, who have not received them?
