Crys16 understands that the Scarlets are currently tracking ahead on last year's figures and will hopefully be in a position at the start of the season where they are are also ahead of the 2013/2014 season actual sold and issued season tickets before kick off at the first home game!
This much improved trend is obviously great news  and all   Crys16 and other supporters on SF can do now is what they are doing ie to encourage as many friends and family to take out a season ticket! Season ticket packages tend to be sold up to the end of the year albeit at a reduced price  to reflect the shorter time frame, so lets hope that with a good Pro 12 start and the return of the boys from the World Cup (and a good World Cup run ) that season ticket purchases will continue to run on post the first home game and trickle on for a few months up to the end of the year.

Would be interesting to see how revenue from ST sales compares year on year. Against this flow of positivity, I for one haven't bothered to renew my ST...

They must be ahead in terms of volumes sold as I seem to recall last season it was revenue that was up on the year before.

Just doing the Scarlets Marketing team's job but why haven't you renewed (out of interest like)?

Primarily the distribution of fixtures and kickoff times / dates. Not helped by the fact that I work in Edinburgh during the week. If someone had bothered to send me a renewal pack or even phoned, I would no doubt have renewed out of habit... Will probably end up spending the same cash on ad-hoc tickets as I would have on a ST, so no real loss of revenue.

That's rubbish. If memory serves me correctly sales have risen every year since the early 90's.
