Hi all,

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. Me, my brother and my grandad have been to a few away games, massively helped by me being in uni in Nottingham, making it an easy trips to games such as Northampton

We are looking at going to Sale. I will be going by train, however my brother and my grandad will need to make their own way there, and they are trying to work out their options.

Could anyone be able to let me know, are there organised buses running for away games such as this one? If so, could someone point me in a direction to more information about them? Obviously living in Porthcawl we understand they are unlikely to pick up near here, but they would be willing to get to whatever the bus would pick them up.

Also, where in the stadium are people looking at going, so we can try and book tickets near other Scarlets fans

Thanks in advance, Ben

I would also like information on the trip going from the Scarlets.

I believe there is going to be at least an overnight stay bus not sure about an up and back on the day bus. To be fair to the Scarlets we don't know when it is yet.

The bus to Sarries picked up at a few places along the M4 so shouldn't be too difficult for them.

The scarlets will probably be getting an allocation for this game , so wait and see what's announced when the date of the game is announced next week

For those who enjoy a train trip, there is a direct train from Llanelli- Manchester no changes, I believe there are around 6 per day.

Scenic route, too, if it's the route up through Shrewsbury.

I assumed that our allocation would be behind the posts, but a member of my family bought 5 tickets from our ticket office yesterday and they are all seated

Does anyone know if we're stopping off at any service stations on the way to Sale?
Need to know if I have to make up some sandwiches for the bus or not!

Are many Scarlets fans going here or anywhere else pre/post game?

There’s loads of pubs near Piccadily but it’s not the nicest area so I would either go to the Barley Farm (link attached) which is on the road leading to the Stadium so about 5 minutes away. Will be full of both supporters – food is good (and fast service) and prices very reasonable. (Saracens fans liked it!)

Food at and outside the Stadium is OK but vastly over-priced, as are beer prices in the ground! You may want to pop into our Shark Tank before or after the match – it’s a giant marquee on the Stadium concourse and there’s always live music and loads of players wondering around.
