Anyone know when the team will be announced?
Could be a bit thin on the ground for this one, hope the youngsters can maintain the winning streak.

All the best to the Scarlets Premiership Select at Richmond on Saturday,a win will virtually guarantee a Quarter Final place,if they qualify the Scarlets will be the first Welsh Region select to do so .
Nottingham home to Leinster A tomorrow night, the Scarlets will have one eye on this .
possible squad from,Tom,Dion,Ryan,Corey,Gareth Owen,Nicholas,R,Smith,Maynard,McBryde,D,Smith,Rhodri Davies,Dylan,Fawcett,Emyr,Daf.Hughes or Taylor,Meat,Gardiner,Helps,Bernabo,Tom,P,Condy,Allen capt,Macleod andShaun Evans

If they play anything like they did in the second Leinster A match then I would fancy their chances.

Scarlets at a canter in my view.

Yeah, Richmond are the weakest team by far in the Championship - I think the Scarlets XV will win.

if Richmond play like they did in Llandovery you could pick 15 off the forum and get at least a draw.

Yes. After last week's jaunt down to Llanelli for the Ulster & Llandovery games another 500 mile round trip is not feasible for various reasons but a 120 mile excursion from the south coast to Richmond is on. Saw them beat Leinster at Quins and would love them to progress to the QFs and hopefully beyond. Some rare talent coming through - it'll be great to see them pushing for First Team places soon.

Yes I'm going to the game with at least one other.

Scarlets Premiership Select side to take on Richmond, Saturday 14th January, kick-off 3.00pm;
Replacements; Rhys Fawcett, Greg George, Javan Sebastian, Phil Day, Morgan Allen, Rhodri Davies, Richard Smith
Posted By: Ffidel Bennett
Date Posted: 13 January 2017 at 12:49pm
Nice to see Javan Sebastian and Simon Gardiner, two prodigal sons now returned to the region and given the incentive to make their way back as Scarlets. I think the writing is on the wall for Morgan Allen, Richard Smith and Bernardo who seem to moving further away from the real action.

Looking forward to it. Quite a change to the side we fielded against them at Llandovery but fingers crossed it will be enough.

Meaty pack and some pace and guile in the backs, if not much power. Anyone know anything about Afon Bagshaw apart from he's ex Wales u20s and a gog? Are we looking at him for next year?

I don't know him BUT several people who do have commented on Afon in the Liam/DTH replacement thread.
(Thought 'Afon' was a typo for 'Arfon' to begin with!)

Good news and hopefully when we take on Nottingham at home on 21 January at 2pm we shall be on top of the group! Admission will be again at the Quinnell Lounge at normal Llanelli Rfc Premiership prices . Scarlets are away in Sale so a great game of regional A grade regional rugby for those not going North awaits.

I don't know the rules of this competition, but if we get 5 points at Richmond and don't allow Notts to get 5 points when they come to Llanelli, we're definitely through. Both should be do-able.

Scarlets need to win today,I feel .I think the Richmond have picked a much stronger team today that turned up at Llandovery ,we probably could have done with the Leinster win last night ? next week Nottingham will come fully loaded now,as they can still qualify a loss would have meant them sending a weakened side to the Parc next week.,
So next week at the Parc,Scarlets Premiership v Nottingham could be a winner takes all .

Crap!
We have to win next week, now. Apparently Richmond put out a much stronger team this week, which hardly seems fair - if true.

Gutted for the boys but one conversion out of six,I think ?? if correct criminal really .
So a win next week and quarter final secured, but todays result could cost us home quarter possibly

Looking at the tables I think we have qualified even if we lose next week. Albeit as runners up. But we need a bonus point win to stand a chance of a home draw.

Looking at next week's fixtures, four of the top teams in the other groups are playing each other, so we are still in with a shout for a home draw. Let's hope for no injuries tomorrow.

With London welsh been thrown out, with Munster only playing 4 games to play 19 points as a pool winner,if we win next week, should secure a home quarter.

Threw this one away big time,32-17 up 13 mins left...Yellow cards were costly and game management was poor..We scored 5 tries,Conbeer with a great finish ( looks a great prospect )..Billy's kicking for posts wasn't great missed 3 cons and a penalty, don't understand why Maynard didn't take them...Missed some seasoned players for this game could have done with Pete,Emyr,Nicky Thomas,Steff Hughes and Gar Owen who aren't involved tomorrow..Still in our own hands to top the group..

Agree with all that townboy,it is real mystery why Jack his not the 1st choice kicker,a far more consistent goal kicker than Billy .If my memory serves me right,a number of conversions were missed in reverse fixture up at Llandovery .

Undoubtedly needed a leader on the pitch in the last quarter. A couple of nervy boots to the opposition might have been avoided when keeping possession was paramount. Richmond celebrated like they'd won the cup at the finish - but after the season they're enduring they're entitled to that. However, to run out of draught bitter in the bar before half time was a serious discredit to them. Plus the rancid cornish pasty had to be returned, though they did refund the cost immediately.
