Just seen a post on the Scarlets Facebook page asking us to pre-order tickets for London Irish away by 12pm on Monday 9th December.

I wondered if someone could help me with a question: is there usually a bus run by the Scarlets for away games within the UK, and if so is there a ticket normally included within the bus, or is it literally just the bus you pay for and you have to sort your own ticket out?

I've not been on a Scarlets bus for an away game before! I'm guessing I'd have to pre-book tickets by the 9th as suggested, then just hope that there's a bus announced at some later point.

Was told by ticket office this week that behind the posts isn't option this time so we're on the sides towards the corners.

We don't get allocations any more, they order the amount requested by fans ringing the ticket office.

Fans have until 9th December to book tickets through the club.

You could put your name down for tickets Sav and just mention that it's reliant on the game being on a specific day, and if it doesn't work out i think the club can likely send them back or sell them on to someone else.

If this game is a group decider or if it has something on it then I think this could end up being moved to be on tv . Could either be a saturday night at 8pm or theres no champions cup games so it could even be on the Friday night

London Irish website now saying kick-off is 3pm on the Saturday. I'll probably give the Scarlets ticket office a ring in the morning to see if there's any truth in this because the deadline for reserving tickets is 5pm tomorrow.

It is what it is unfortunately , we know tv dictates and people have been calling for these games to be televised for ages. BT wouldnt allow them to clash with their tv coverage of the champions cup which is why i think the kick off is so late on the saturday. Normally this late would suit me but i cant make it to Reading that weekend anyway so i cant attend but there is never going to be a time that suits everyone. The Toulon game kicking off at 8pm means i can attend, if it was any earlier than 7pm kick off i woudlnt be able to attend that either

I didn't reserve tickets because I didn't know the kick-off time. However, there are over 6500 seats still available on the London Irish site. Does anyone have any idea of where the bulk of the Scarlets supporters will be?

I'm looking for two tickets if someone can't make it now , the Holiday Inn near the stadium is only £50 for a twin room if people are worried about getting home late.

Those travelling from London need to check whether the M4 closure will affect them.

Is this a late night closure, or something during the day?

This might be a long shot, but I wondered if anyone could let me know if there happens to be two spare seats in a car or a minibus or a coach available somewhere, going from Llanelli to Reading and back the same day. We will be happy to pay petrol/parking. It's not urgent, we'll drive up if we have to, it's just that we didn't manage to get a spot on the official bus. Thanks.

This from Highways England'

17 to 20 January 2020 - full weekend closure between junctions 6 and 8/9

We will need a full closure of the M4 in both directions between junctions 6 and 8/9 to demolish the old Huntercombe Spur bridge. We will close the M4 from the evening of Friday 17 January to the morning of Monday 20 January 2020.

We will be working day and night during this weekend to complete the demolition and reopen the motorway on time. Throughout the works, we will be monitoring noise and vibration near the site.

During this weekend we will divert traffic to the A308M, A308, A332 and A355. We will put strategic diversions on the wider motorway network to direct traffic away from this part of the M4, using the M25, M3 and M40.

The stadium is at Junction 11 so those of us travelling eastbound should be ok.

BerkshireLive newspaper reports that the M4 will be closed from Friday 17th until Monday 20th, a bridge is being removed between J6 Slough, and J8/9 Maidenhead.

I've booked seats in Row R of Y24 directly with London Irish and they told me they've posted them out first class today. Going by past experiences, I've still probably managed to get seats in the middle of the only London Irish contingent in that block LOL
