Don't like them. Very off-putting to using the forum.

Just ignore them and don’t click on them . I assume it makes the site free to use 🤔

It's not something we've brought in so must be a change to Ads by Google that's making it happen.

We'll look into it

In safari settings on an iPhone there’s a ‘block pop-ups’ option. Depending which browser everyone’s using trying something similar to that could help.

Where are these pop up ads?  I don't seem to have them. I'm missing  out on viagra by the sound of it.

SF is the only site I visit where this is happening at the moment. Started last week, I hadn't changed any software on phone or pc. If I am now out of date so be it. But I was curious as to whether just me or some deliberate (or inadvertent) change by SF site design.

Im using Google Chrome with the AD Block extension - ive never seen this ad until today when I went to check in Incognito mode

Had no problems on the phone either with the standard Safari app (no settings changed)

Hope this helps

Got a skimpily clad lass come up on my screen earlier.

Don't mind trying to be sold some nifty daps, but if Mrs Chips happened to be strolling by I suspect I'd be on the naughty step with the lady one.

There’s also one that offers to clean your Mac - an ad not a skimpy lass and it refers to Apple products.

Any idea what screening these ads have? Most pop up ads for IT stuff tend to come with huge risks, you’d imagine.

Usually the ads relate to what you’ve been looking at.

I've taken some screen shots. I could send you some?

Today's seems to be chopping and cooking some sort of mushroom pie. Not sure what that means.

Edit-and someone selling what looks like tap fittings and some sort of compound to store farmyard animals ( in German). Handy.

Correction...it's Dutch

This thread could take on the mantle of past classics such as Haydn’s conservatory.

Actually I watched it for the full 12 seconds ( for evaluation purposes) and she's selling some flowery scented stuff that I don't recognize.
I feel I'd like to watch again to be sure, but I'm back to the tap fittings now.

Out of interest, has anyone bought from the pop up ads on our site in the last few months or more?

I’ve just bought a couple of Anxiety-relieving dog beds. Our collie thinks he always needs to be with us……….and doesn’t like being left alone without human presence, even with the other two dogs to keep him company.

Will see how good they are.

They sound handy, i had a yorkie  i had to leave the radio on to stop her getting anxious when left alone. Out of curio do pepple let their dogs sleep in their bedroom? I let mine but the mrs thinks that is odd? (She has her own bed dog not the mrs)Wink

We definitely prefer not to have them in the bedroom.

The westie and the cocker sleep in their own crates in the lounge and are very happy doing so. The collie used to do that. Occasional fury of tearing up the bed in the crate and other destructive behavioural protests mean that he no longer does.

He will sleep on a very comfy dog bed in the lounge but is often patrolling to check everyone is ok. Sometimes, he will get on his hind legs and open doors - we’ve easy to move handles not the circular kind that wouldn’t be easily undone by a dog.

It’s ended up that he now sleeps in the bedroom on the carpet. Although we’d far prefer he didn’t, it does give us the best quality of sleep.

As soon as i say are we going to bed she races up stairs (the dog) she will sleep right through so it’s not really an issue being a yorkie she not big enough to open doors. Your dog sounds v clever . I can’t get mine to come in from the back when i call her let alone open  doorWink. Yorkies great dogs but suffer with bad teeth . Something to do with size of the mouth

Forgot to say that the anxiety-relieving dog bed ad has said “Last Day of Sale” so often, even several consecutive days. Today, there was no mention of the sale but when I clicked for details, the price was significantly reduced, as per the “Last Day” offer.

Reporting on the Anxiety Reduction Dog Bedding that we bought, after getting delivery of them over the weekend.

The two younger dogs absolutely love them.

The older dog, who has the anxiety issue, studiously avoids them.

The manufacturer can’t help with this situation, sadly. However, the product seems good for the pets and looks good and decently made.

Being “ in the dog house “ doesn’t seem as bad as I thought then ! 😉

These are a bit embarrassing for me...one of my largest businesses here is ladies underwear and intimates...so the pop up pages/ads on SF are generally scantily clad ladies or extensions of such...

I know your thinking ' Yeah, right Wil'...but it's actually a problem.

Any solutions?
