BBC News reporting that from 6th June outdoor events with crowds of up to 10,000 seating and 4,000 standing will be allowed by the Welsh Assembly. Looks like we will be able to return to the Parc.

This has suddenly become a massive game! To see a crowd there will be amazing!

I've read that social distancing, risk assessments etc have to be in place. So I'd imagine we could have atleast 4000 in the ground

Watching BBC Wales news and they say that socially distancing rules will apply. That shouldn’t be a problem with the capacity of the Parc.

I would guess max of 2000 or so all seated season ticket holders, bearing in mind the size of the ground and risk assessment considerations and assuming it is financially viable and the club wants it of course. Anyway it’s good news and let’s hope this is the start of something great!

Out of interest, did any season ticket holders actually get sent a physical card/ticket this season?

I was sent nothing other than a confirmation email, I haven’t bothered checking with the club up to now whether they were meant to send anything out as it seemed pointless, but with a potential game to go to next weekend, it’s suddenly got me thinking that I didn’t actually get sent any season ticket.

Still freaks me out that you can only have a private gathering of 30 people but you can have 4,000 in an organised event. It’s pretty [beep]ed up.

Indeed Rob and therefore with someone in charge whose business will be sanctioned if he or she fails to comply with all the safety and process protocols, Yes it’s not ideal but is the only practical way to deal with gatherings.

Ah right, no I’m in no rush to get back. Be great to see crowds back though. I don’t think I’ve seen one sports event where people have kept masks on mind.

I’m with you on the masks stance.

We won’t be at the match, although that’s mostly due to distance. Having got out of the habit of travelling is part of the reason. The next largest factor is the dross we’ve served up under the regime for most of the season.

Our optimism isn’t extinguished though and Dwayne will reveal previously hidden talents from our squad next season.

In order to match my glass half full with reality, I’m off to top up my glass.Wink

It’s a real plus for the club to get in a game to try out the processes around Covid regs. It’s likely that next season will start with some form of regulation on numbers and seating.

Players will love it too.

Non mask wearing at outdoor sporting events is down to the fact that the required distance is adhered to or that you are within the same bubble.
Delighted to hear we are allowing a limited number of supporters in. Non essential indoor services have been reopened. Outdoor events have to be kick-started.

Some aren’t though. Nevertheless it’s a start. It would be naive to think every single person stuck to every rule. I hope everyone has thought of booking a table at the pubs afterwards. Go, go, go. LOL

Tbh they should open the gates as a free game to anyone that wants to go, its been a covid nightmare and a full Parc would be a superb return.

Ive had Covid, had my 1st Covid vaccine had the bloody thing again and had my second shot,,,,enough about covid, free stadium, singing and normality,,,

Very sorry to hear about your COVID infections... I do hope that you are completely recovered.

I don't think it would be safe at all to return to a full stadium ATM - and anyway (if I understand right) social distancing will still apply, so the crowd must be limited in size.

As I have a condition which means that, even with two vaccinations done, there is no guarantee of any significant number of antibodies, I shall not be attending. I very much hope that those of you who can and do go are treated to a great match, and have a whale of a time!

Also, I'm assuming everyone got tickets in random places rather than where they normally go?

Nice to see us score some good tries to finish off the season. Disappointed with the draw. Blade, Kieran, Conbeer, Steff Hughes, Steff Evans, Steff Thomas, Tom Rogers, Morgan Jones and Ryan went well.

Uzair will be missed! Onwards to next year!

Hopefully we have a few players incoming and Patchell back for us next year!
