That's ok if you only want to watch the fixtures involving the Welsh regions.
Premier show all of the matches don't they?
May be worth negotiating with Premier to pay £40 instead of £80 to have all games available.
Just a thought.

To be honest, my appetite and appreciate for rugby is the lowest it's been since I became a ST holder.

Couple that with becoming a father during this Covid period and it's no longer a priority for me spending free time watching games outside of ours.

Tried negotiating with Premier, would only offer £99. Had cancelled subscription which is running out end of September.
Not likely to renew as I think only 2 scarlets games not on terrestrial TV?

Yes, it's just a single click to cancel it on your Premier Sports account if you catch it in time, but if the payment has already gone through, you might have to go through your bank to try and reclaim it.

Where can I find a list of Scarlets URC fixtures due to be broadcast on BBC/S4C, against the 100% of Scarlets fixtures due to be aired by Premier Sports?

Isn't it the vast majority?

My Premier account page says:

You have an active (Annual Subscription - £89 annually - first year is billed at £49) subscription with Premier Player.

Your next payment is due 01-01-1970.

However, the last amounts were always Oct 2 (2019 £49, 2020 £89). So far, they haven't notified me of any impending deduction, nor any pricepoint, much less the price going up to £99.

That said, I have valued being able to watch ever Scarlets game.

http://https://www.wru.wales/2021/08/united-rugby-championship-returns-to-bbc-wales-and-s4c/" rel="nofollow - Announcement

"BBC Wales and S4C will broadcast 75 per cent of the games involving the four Welsh regions for the next four years after a new television deal was struck with the United Rugby Championship."

BBC Wales: "BBC Wales will broadcast 18 live games per season, one in each round using their primary slot of 19:35 on Fridays"

S4C Welsh regions: "27 (live) games including the festive derbies and Judgement Day".

All finals (if it comes to that) FTA.

Ie. At least 45 games of Welsh interest.

But still not sure what percentage of Scarlets matches. Has anyone seen a list?
Would love to compare Premier's value vs FTA.

With 4 x Welsh teams, if the two broadcasters show one game each per weekend (=2), why is that not 50% of Welsh-interest games? Do non-weekend festive and Judgement Day fixtures make up the numbers?

Thanks pillory. I am unsure what to do. If there are not as many games on S4c and bbc then I wii renew with Premier but if most games are on terrestrial then is it worth it

D'oh. Thanks. How did you get them?
So, of the fixtures with a broadcaster announced, the only match only on Premier is Scarlets vs Dragons, Jan 8?

That’s how I read it. May subscribe just for that month and use money saved to get btsport month pass for European games

I've cancelled Premier Player then. Even with have the broadcast fixtures still undecided, the fact that 9 of 10 announced are FTA bodes well for the remaining 8 fixtures.

No. Assume BT Sports are in the process of deciding which games they want in the prime slots.

My gut feeling is that Bristol away will end up being a Friday night game like Bath 2018.

Not sure what you mean. The game kicks off 18:10 S.Africa time, don't get what their fascination is with this early Friday evening time slot*?  For us at 17:10 I would think a lot of people will barely have finished work or may be commuting home around this time.

*That's not to say I haven't realised the Sharks game is ahead of Wales/France KO at 20:00.

Kick offs for both are SA time 20.10 - not sure what’s gone wrong there.

When the SA teams play in Europe I’ve noticed they don’t kick off later than 6ish…must be built in to the agreement for SA tv I guess.

Cardiff (both games) on Sunday at 3pm SA time.

Munster and Zebre have the Saturday pm and Saturday early evening slots. Logic escapes me as to why all fixtures over both weeks have the same clubs playing at the same times.

I think we're both wrong according to the URC website Embarrassed 2 hour difference between UK and SA for all games:-

Indeed, all fit and well with us and hope likewise.

I’d like to express some concern for the roller coaster that is this forum, though.

The Scarlets roller coaster has shown signs of revival and climbing up to heights not seen for a year or two, albeit challenged by rust on the tracks from inactivity coupled with disinterest from some hugely talented players whose talent has misplaced their persistence and effort.

Having been used to the roller coaster making a passing impressions of a tube train (underground/metro/subway) for much of last season, the Scarlets version seems to be in better shape, relatively, than the Wales equivalent.

The National version seems to be heading for the buffers on a steep descent due to lack of depth in playing strength due to the pro clubs having been on (WRU-inflicted) financial starvation rations.

However, I’m off topic. It’s as if the WRU have switched the points and sent me in a different direction, while they’re busy playing the Welsh edition of Monopoly and putting hotels on the board.

Hope Pieter is ok and enjoying life.

Surely it's the combination.
5:10 on a Saturday or Sunday - most working people can watch.
5:10 on a Friday, most can't (first half at least)

When we say not warm we mean you get icicle's on your whiskers in the North Stand.
