Did anyone use click and collect on Friday night?

I tried it, and my order wasn't received, and one of the drinks waan't available, even though it was listed on the site.

I'd be interested to hear feedback from anyone else who used it.

The service at the bars in the enclosure concourse was nothing short of shambolic to be honest. Why we have the same issues every season is beyond me.

They know that there will be an initial rush when supporters arrive but still insist on pouring each pint on order.

I queued nearly 20 minutes DURING the game, I went in the hope that it would be quieter.

If they want to profit from these outlets they need someone with business acumen to take over and do things effectively or it will just stop people bothering.

There’s no excuse there are many football and rugby clubs who have fast pour systems also things like stacking Guiness in part pours

Contact the club, complain, say you'll vote with your wallets next time.  Someone may sit up and take notice.  I don't drink during the game, it saves toilet visits, so have never been to the bars during the game myself.

Totally agree. It’s not as if they see all those people matchday and think we’ll I wasn’t expecting crowds to be here.

They are short of staff, full stop!

stop moaning and offer your services if you love the club that much.

As above, we aren't the only club/sports team who are short on staff so we will just have to ride it out.

Youngsters wanting a few pounds instead of sitting around doing nothing.

To be fair they are probably pretty rusty. It can be frustrating I know. Get the guinnnes 3/4 full ready for topping as they do in Ireland. And - cheese pasties for my vegetarian son please.

So what we are saying is, for the wages we are paying and the experience of the staff we are having to employ and the amount of work they are getting, we are pretty much getting the expected customer service levels or are we thinking very casual youngsters should be providing award winning service?

My son, like many others on the night, were working for the very first time and at least in my son's case, dare I say a few or most of the rest too, it's their very first job. Anyway. They had no actual training before Friday. Only turning up for one hour days before to be shown around. There in lays the problem, perhaps?

Sadly, that doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Then raise the scarlet standard high.
Within its shade we'll live and die,
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer,
We'll keep the red flag flying here.

Not qualified to comment on what didn't go well on the night as I wasn't there.

However the hospitality sector is really struggling for full time staff, some entities having to close as a consequence.

Against that backdrop I'm not what can be realistically expected from casual labor base, picked up for just a few hours on a weekend evening.

Investment in Tech to limit the labor challenge (like click and collect, automatic glass fills) will help, but I'm not sure whether it would be better to sub contract the whole bar set up to a catering firm.

Absolutely Wil. The Scarlets had a huge number of casual staff who didn't turn up on Friday. The staff I dealt with were helpful and apologetic.

Sounds like Helzbach who has formed a group to help run events etc like the music after Nottingham game. I have no idea though if there’s a committee or anything formal. I found it confusing when I came across the group as I would have thought that this could happen via an events/ help sub group within Crys16 and having competing interests can only confuse. I suggest Crys and the new Scarlets Supporters group actually get together and sort out how they are going to work going forward to avoid confusion and mixed messages. Obviously I don’t know anything about the politics here but it needs addressing I feel

I thought exactly the same when I saw the word official. On the subject of music at the game who chooses it? It’s not the best.

With you on the music SA.
We need something to get the crowd on their feet by time the team runs out.

There are probably a couple of dozen songs which are guaranteed to get most people singing along/ wound up.
