Lots of folk love Eurovision. Can’t say I like much of the music, however, it’s great to see lots of folk from all over having a great time. What can you say about Germany? It’s not MOR Eurovision, for sure. Stephen King’s version of Keane meets Black Sabbath in Kiss costumes?

I didn’t watch the actual competition last night I’m afraid, but I did watch a lot of the build up - I was a student in Liverpool and it’s a great city, I still go back a lot and have taken friends who’ve loved it too (Man U fans, count ten, Manchester is great too, I just don’t know it so well). I thought Liverpool looked really good. If anyone is looking for a good long weekend away, there’s loads to see and do there and if you are a Beatles’ fan, International Beatles’ week is not to be missed. Lovely people too. P.S. to whoever said it, I’m enjoying the Giro too!
