Phil that is distasteful. We have a large range of political & religious beliefs among our forum members & that should be celebrated not mocked. My good mate RR is I know a practising Catholic & he should be respected. I suggest you issue an apology.

Did I mention or mock any individuals by name ? Considering the number of religious sorts who have been all over social media stating that 23/24th was going to be Rapture day, then a harmless tongue in cheek post from on Atheist standpoint is hardly offensive. It is merely an expression of an alternative viewpoint delivered in a light and humorous manner.....variety is the spice of life et al

Did you not see all the hysterical people in America and Africa on social media? Literally quitting jobs, giving up houses and cars etc all because a pastor in Africa had a vision that rapture would be on 23rd or 24th Sept.........the overly dramatic posts from them were amusing for anyone

I don't recall using the word offended Phil. " the book of BS is actually just mind control of the masses". Pretty sure someone on our forum may find that offensive. Why post on our forum? I don't recall anyone making the claims you cite here. If you had responded on the relevant social media platform that would perhaps have made some sense. Sometimes when you are in a deep hole it pays to stop digging........

It is not my intention Phil to have a prolonged debate with you about this topic. As usual words have significance. I suggested to you that you may want to re-consider your original post in light of the fact that we have a number of people on this forum who could have been insulted by the way you expressed your opinions. 

You have chosen to double down on your position & thats your prerogative. I have said all I have to say on this matter. By the way please do not refer to me as "dear boy" & you have zero idea of how informed or uninformed I am on the topic. That is probably because I choose to keep my opinions to myself as I am aware that certain subjects can become quite inflammatory & I have absolutely no wish to post something which would upset any fellow poster.

Maybe not the Kastom people mind.
