For those who do'nt  know,  Nick Thorne was a local Llanelli  boy, with an estate agents office in  Murray Street.
Nick died last year of cancer , and has been sadly missed  by his family , friends  and a multitude of clients,  who he either sold a property for or  introduced to a vendor , prior to sale.

This is the category I found myself in  13 years ago entering his office , looking forward property. We were soon talking football,  discussing  the fortunes of Swans and  the Reds.
I found Nick one of the most honest, kind and compassionate  people,  and we became increasingly friendly.
So grateful  to him,  and it was only through him, we we now happily in our present home.

Next Sat at 8.00pm there is a memorial  evening at the Llanesco club  , Station Road  hosted by the Rev Eldon. Phillips, guest starring former Wales,  Crystal Palace, Leeds Utd,  Bristol City, Cardiff City , Newport County and Swansea city footballer  Terry  Boyle.  Terry made an incredible  550 football league appearances.  His Wales caps were restricted to three , partly  through  the quality of players like Mike England.
Terry  is a former Llanelli Grammar School product,  where he played centre, before switching to football.
It will beca very intresting  evening for sure.

The cause is most impotent  of all.. Marie Curie, who have for years nursed those in need   . I have  known several families with terminally ill members , who  would never have coped without them
It's truly a wonderful  organisation  that deserves  our support.
