It would be great to meet up again. We've only 2 weeks to official launch. Let's keep this going.

Sounds like he's keen to listen.

Positivity is the key here.

Very positive response. Also agree about meeting up again. I can make tomorrow (Weds 29th or Thurs 30th) if we need to meet that urgently.
Failing that any night next week.
Sandpiper was ok, but open to any other quietish venues you can think of.

Anytime except Weds 5th April.

Looking at the group, 3 local to Llanelli, 1 Llandybie, 2 Bridgend and 2 Cardiff. Any suitable venues? Don't mind going down West but preferably not as far into Llanelli as the Sandpiper and closer to the M4. Anywhere suitable in Hendy/Pontardulais?

How about the Gwyn Hotel or Black Horse in Bont? Close to the enemy line I know..

Black Horse was recently done out.

They spent about 330K on it. Havent beenin there yet to see what its like, but my parents have and so has Phil Wyatt.

There is resurfacing/traffic carming works going on between Hendy and Bonyt at the moment but it doesn't cause to much problems.

Failing that, if I clearer it with the wife, then my place could be available.

If everybody's going to be down for the game on Friday. We could arrange to meet up after the game. It would save the boys from the east an extra journey.

Wasn't able to make the original Ospreys game and gave my ticket away. I feel duty bound to honour that agreement for the rearranged game.

However, I am happy if you all meet at the game and would like to say that should anyone need me to come with them to meet SG, I am available on Weds and Thurs next week in the day (Weds is better). Otherwise, any evening apart from Wednesday.

I am also happy if others would rather meet him.

No problem with tomorrow night. Hendy / Bont fine with me. Next week I can't do Wednesday 5th but every other day is o.k. at the moment.

i'm going friday so dont mind meeting up before/after the game

i've asked julie if sg will meet us in the day or evening

I've now got a problem with tomorrow night. The wife has a school governors meeting to discuss the future structure of their school (and her future pay band!), so I'm looking after my daughter.

If everyone else is going down on Friday anyway, you may as well meet then and I'll get a report on here?

Friday would certainly suit me, but it would be good if Abbey could be at the meeting too. If Friday isn't viable, would we all be available at any time over the weekend? I think that most, if not all of us should be there at this point. Critical point IMO.

What about Sunday?

Sunday's dooable, and morning would be better.

Friday night's a non starter for me I'm afraid. My girls are part of boynsmun's daughter's 'Scarlets party' and will be lining up as the players run out.

The only thing open on a Sunday morning is Tesco. Shall we meet by the bananas?

The only place I can seriously think of is Pont Abraham or Swansea services!

Llanelli Tennis Club could be available depending on what time. It's behind Strade, parking no problem and plenty of peace & quiet.

I'll have to give this one a miss again sorry.

Here goes...................................I'm going to see the Swans in the LDV final in Cardiff

Again - apologies that I haven't been able to give this excellent cause the committment I would have liked to.

I'm unlikely to make Sunday morning [I don't really do mornings and Sundays are otherwise allocated in any case].  I don't think it's a huge problem, though.  I trust you lot [it's not as if we've got any money] and given our geographical distribution and various commitments, a full house is going to be unusual; we need to get used to working with a fair selection of the group as normal.  I agree that two or three of us meeting would be fairly useless for something as general as this, but I think that six or seven of the nine of us should be enough.
So I may see you there, but if not, a brief summary on here would be appreciated.
Here's hoping it's stuffed osprey for Friday night's food.

Fair point Bob.
Maybe Sunday morning was a bit ambitious.
Anyone see Mark Steel on 'Che' tonight? Fair puts us to shame bois.

Ok Comancheros, how about Monday or Tuesday night?

Failing that you can find me in Cochyn's cwtch/Scarlets zone amidst the fishfingers and chips before tomorrows game.
Hasta!

Can we wait until Tuesday to get an answer to SG about meeting next week? Can someone ask him/his representative when he wants to meet and then we can make our arrangements around that, but at least we'll have set something up with him?

hi all,

didn't receive a response from julie about whether SG could meet us in the day or evening so sent a reminder and just received the following response.

"Stuart can meet after work. We'll need to liaise for a date after Easter."

i.e. 18th april
