all the best to the quins -

Carmarthen Quins meet holders Cwmllynfell in the final of the Tovali Challenge Cup at Dunvant tonight (7.15). Quins player-coach and centre Barry Maddock and wing Wayne Price take late fitness tests, but a definite non-starter is former Tonna prop Richard Durnell who is sidelined with a rib injury.

Cwmllynfell have no injury problems and will select from a full-strength squad.

"We are looking forward to the final" said team manager Brian Lewis.

"We have met the Quins twice in the league this season and both matches were very close and hard fought.

"We beat them 26-21 at Carmarthen back in October but then lost in the return 22-10.''

The result could well depend on who will win the duel at No. 8 between the two outstanding captains, namely Jim Morgan and Alan Mason.
