In a couple of season's I think he'll take over from Ken. He'll then sign for another contract as first choice hooker.

Brilliant and a very important resigning.
probably spells the end of Emyr Phillips time with us though.

Great news. He should be in the Welsh squad now without doubt. Has many of the attributes of the South African hooker Marx who is, in my opinion, the Worlds best at the moment. Ryan has the ability and attitude to match him.

Ryan is a very impressive person both on and off the field.  Delighted with this news. Clap

Don’t think it’ll take as long as that. If not at the end of this season, then definitely at the start of next season. I really believe he’s that good. Also, having spoken to Ken over the summer, his will is in no doubt to the Scarlets’ cause, however, his body and ability to recover may be.
Only one team plays in red. (Sorry, Scarlet)

Emyr is a top player, but has had bad luck with injuries (is he fit at the moment, BTW?)

I can see him as having a very important role to play during international periods, especially if both Ken and Ryan are called up, as will very likely happen.

Does anyone think there'll be a good news Tnewsday signing on Boxing Day? Preferably half time, how good would that be? The No. 8 we've all been hoping for, maybe George North?

Cracking player and leader is Emyr, however I don’t see him being around for long unfortunately as he is quite injury prone and also we have Daf Hughes and Taylor Davies both of whom are good enough to be 3rd choice and in Daf’s case good enough to be even more.
Could very well see Emyr move on to make some money elsewhere.

I heard it was a Southern Hemisphere player. From the same club as the 8 Pivac is hoping to sign. Got no names tho.
