One full back and one 7?! Cubby for the Olympics would be my guess.

Rhodri Jones? Based on what form? Shame for cubby - what has the guy got to do?

I'd have taken Dillon Lewis as third choice
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

Gatland lagging behind again. Eli Walker is made of tissue paper Hewitt should be there. Cubby must be wondering what he has to do. King and Turnbull too similar. Sam Davies player of pro 12 should be ahead of Bristols Matt Morgan. Rhodri Jones is laughable. Seems if your face fits you're in

Such an odd squad to pick. Against the worlds best picking solid but unspectacular players like King and Turnbull will never win you games. Having an exciting attacking option like Cubby in the squad is more likely to be the difference than any of the other back row options.

That being said the less scarlets going the better. 3 games against the worlds toughest team is only going to result in a lot of injuries.

Full Back cover by Anscombe, Morgan & Amos. Cubby & Ellis Jenkins must have been close. Personally I would have taken Lewis instead of Rhodri, Sam instead of Priestland & Hewitt instead of Walker. I would also have given Scott a full pre-season at home but I may be a being a tad selfish there!!!. Clearly Gatland sees something in Rhodri that we haven't seen this season.

Glad to see the three strongest performing regional back rowers are staying behind... he was great when he came in, but now wales have genuinely great players, i think gatland has become outdated

Gatland says nobody's form in Wales at the moment is so good you can leave them out......Surley players should be considered over the season not over the last 4 weeks,IMO Cubby has been excellent all year and last, not only him but feel for Ellis Jenkins and Navidi who have also had a good seasons....Wonder now if Cubby will go to Rio with the 7's ?????

If you are taking Rhodri Jones who can't scrummage, why not???

Because he won't be able to cope with the pace and intensity of the All Blacks for one thing, then there's the fact he's 35. Dillon Lewis should have gone
