From Dwayne Peel's video earlier today, the following players are out: Ken Owens, Steff Evans, Scott Williams, Joe Roberts, Josh Macleod, Samson Lee, Alex Craig (until next week) & Carwyn Tuipolotu.
Ioan Lloyd is being prepared to start at 10, and Plumtree will play his first game for Scarlets (having already got a Wales cap!) - when you try to pick a team from what's left, there's really not much room for manoeuvre, so something like:
Johnny McNicholl, Tom Rogers, Jonathan Davies ©, Ioan Nicholas, Ryan Conbeer, Ioan Lloyd, Archie Hughes; Wyn Jones, Shaun Evans, Harri O'Connor, Morgan Jones, Jac Price, Iwan Shenton, Dan Davis, Taine Plumtree. Replacements: Lewis Morgan, Kemsley Mathias, Sam Wainwright, Ed Scragg, Luca Giannini, Kieran Hardy, Dan Jones, Tomi Lewis/Eddie James
A first run out for several players & coaches' ideas, against some Wallaby hopefuls & hometown favourites - should be a great occasion to honour Benny, looking forward to being there.

Not everyone involved, which feels sensible. It's still 5-6 weeks before the first competitive game.

I asked the Scarlets earlier in the week on Instagram and apparently it won't be televised. It's a shame to miss it but hopefully it's a good day out for the people who can attend.

we watched a similar selection many times in last years...absolutely not a bad team.. Lloyd at flyhalf is an other alternative solution even if I would like to see he and Costelow together on the field

They've had two comfortable wins on this tour. I'm not expecting a win but I am expecting a fun game.

Great honour for Haverfordwest and Hendy RFC to each have players selected for the famous Barbarian touring team. I hope they both have a good number of supporters at PYS to see their club socks being worn with the famous striped Barbarians kit.
