   Don't know if any golf fans watched yesterday's finale but we were treated to a master class of ball striking by Robert MacIntyre and Rory McIlroy. Playing into a raging wind Rory had to birdie the 17th & 18th to win. He had 180 metres to the pin on the 18th which in normal conditions for him would have been a 7 iron. He actually hit a two iron which shows how windy it was. He drilled the shot to 10/12 foot & sunk the putt - absolute genius.
