A close friend runs a chain of hotels. All he does all day is work on improving the occupancy level. Multiple incentives, special offers, one off deals, discount vouchers, family packages, free parking options, food and drink vouchers…literally anything to get the punters in.

His costs don’t increase in line with his occupancy. So he has a sweet spot of 75%. Above that and he’s in profit.
Opening 3 stands for average crowds of 7k is a big waste of money. Should definitely replicate the family pricing options in the corners of the North Stand IMO.
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

This is spot on and I know there are digital marketing experts who have offered to help with this…

Agree . Another tip is to do all you can to retain your existing client / customer base. If they are happy with the service and match day experience ,they are more likely to accept increased ticket and merchandise costs.

There is nothing worse than a stand about 15 % full. Close the East and West and get the North filled up.

The club came to that conclusion a few seasons ago, but returned to using 3 stands not long afterwards. I think the variable number of tag rugby teams attending each match might’ve had something to do with it.

After seeing these posts I contacted the club today. No answer on the phones, so I sent an e-mail. We have been season ticket members in N1 for over 11 years.

They have just replied to say that they are now moving everyone from N1 to N27 in order to accommodate the community clubs who are being moved from the west stand. For the pleasure the cost is also increasing 40%! No correspondence from the club whatsoever about any of this which is extremely poor. I've asked to discuss the situation with someone.

We have been happy to pay the reduced price in recent years in the knowledge that we can only usually attend 50-60% of games. The increased prices probably don't work for us as individual tickets would probably work out - especially given the discounts that they offer in many matches. Given the stupid kick-off times last year probably will give most of them a miss.

Very poor from the club to not inform us of this

I've messaged the club on Facebook and Twitter and had no response. I've also emailed Crys to ask if they can contact the Scarlets. I've had no response from anyone. We've been ST holders for over 10 years, and had a family ticket for 8 years. We donated our covid refund to the Scarlets and yet all this loyalty doesn't even deserve a response from anyone. Love the club but this is so disappointing.

Hi. I had a response from the Scarlets on Facebook and also Crys said they would be forwarding on my question to the club. I have now renewed for the same price for next season. I do hope the club keep this option open going forward as its so beneficial to people like me who want to support but don't have a great deal of disposable income. It does feel to me that they were just going to ditch the deal and I think that would have been really counter productive. We've been holders for over 10 years. With two young children we spend money at every game, buy tickets for every knockout game. Through pushing family and friends we added 10 tickets to the Glasgow gate. Support is a 2 way street and I do hope they remember this. Thanks to Crys and the Scarlets social media team for their assistance.

Not perhaps the right journey to get there, but at least it's the right outcome.
