I disagree with those who suggest that Josh has been anonymous. He took a lot of front lineout ball pretty effectively last weekend and was busy around the breakdown. Clearly a 50 minute outing will have been of huge benefit. Jac Morgan is dangerous at the breakdown & we need to compete with our best breakdown players who are Blade & Josh. By all means have Lezana on the bench perhaps with Aaron covering 2nd row.

I agree re Josh. He's a long way off full match fitness. One thing completely underestimated on here is how long it takes a player to return to peak performance after a long injury layoff.  It took Foxy months. Its probably longer for older players. Which is relevant to your comments about George and what you didn't say about AWJ . If George plays, target him.

It’s good to see Rob Evans looking lively. I’d keep him off the bench for some dynamism and impact as he gave us yesterday.

Foxy has been pretty good in recent games.
Roberts looks good but making his way in the game.
Sorry to disagree.
thought he got done  positional wise  for warrens try which surprising , strong game otherwise let’s be honest collins and watkin got no gas so they won’t be taking him on the outside . Foxy/jonny will be fine vs them

Foxy doesn't have to do much these days, that's for sure.I think RR is spot on re. Collins and Watkins, and it tells us a lot about what's wrong with the Welsh game.

It will be interesting to see Jac Price against Alun Wyn, who as noted earlier is probably not yet back to his best. They are similar in stature and have very high work rates.

9. Cawdor
8. Kalamafoni
7. Lezana
6. Macleod
5. Price
4. Lousi
3. Sebastian
2. Elias
1. Steff
16. Hughes
17. Rob Evs
18. WGJ
19. MJ
20. Shingler
21. Hardy
22. AOB

If Blade is available, I'd start with him at 6, Shingler on the bench, and I would pick Shaun Evans as our bench hooker, other than that most of the side picks itself.

Blade is a must if fit. I still remember him throwing AWJ around like a rag doll at PYS
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

Lies by the URC again, match officials who perform poorly will be demoted .....If allowing 18 points ? That should not have stood , resulting in a loss for the other team ,what is ? No excuse whatsoever..with TMOs etc

Yes he HAS been but he is currently a liability both on temperament and ability. Whatever is causing it be it pressure from the new boys or management but he isn’t performing

Seems pretty clear now with a load of tickets for "sold out" areas going back on sale today that Saturday will be the lowest attended Scarlets game at the stadium ever. Pro rugby support really has dropped off a cliff since covid. Previous low was 10,000. Would be surprised looking at the map if they've sold 7000.

Having said that, hoping the injury situation allows us to field a strong forward group, as ironically this has the makings of a really good game.
