I would try Adams at 13 outside Halaholo with Anscombe and Tomos at half backs.
Shame Rowlands injured because I would have dropped Beard as he is so ineffectual around the park at the moment he looks lost. Would give Rhys Davies a go looks to be the real deal.
To be honest we could do with Ryan having day off so he fit for our SA trip but that not going to happen.

Iesu mowr! It is a mystery why they get selected.

I think Wyn will come back in, with the addition of Dee into the squad at least Elias won't be playing a full game this week.

15. Liam 14. adams 13. willis 12. foxy 11. LRZ 10. Biggar 9. Tomas
1. Wyn 2. Elias 3. Francis 4. Beard 5. rowlands if fit (If not Carter) 6. Jenkins 7. Basham 8. Wainwright

16. Dee 17. Carre 18. WGJ /Lewis 19. Tschiunza 20. Seb Davies 21. Cawdor 22. sheedy 23. Johnny mac.

Loads of unknown factors with injuries, sheedy is well ahead of anscombe imo. Not sure whats become of cawdor he seems to be the forgotten man, re seb davies why is he never considered to start in his regular position at lock? if he does start with rowlands rested then maybe bring young on bench as cover for all back 3 positions...not sure if rob evans has upset someone he merits a squad place...will wgj be fit?
j mac can cover back 3 and even 13.

I understand the sentiment but tbh I think as a club we’re getting a lot out of the fact Ryan is proving to himself (and others) that he can do it at international level.

He’s been threatening to be able to do it for a long time but would often make mistakes. Since that ABs game he’s been near perfect with his darts and then showed his skills across the park too.

I hope he plays on Sat and has another stormer

Ok I’ll bite. Why does everyone think Carre is so rubbish?

I don’t think he’s brilliant but he’s like 23 years old and I don’t understand why he gets so heat on here (and elsewhere?)

Personally it's mainly the scrum. I think he's not necessarily being helped by being exposed before he's ready. But I have to be honest, I think it's less of an issure wrt Carre than it is to do with the structure of Welsh rugby, what the regions are, what the premiership is and how players develop. Everything seems very disjointed and I think players like Carre are really victims of a poor structure. Ideally we'd want 35  ish players at each region, each at a test standard with full availability for every regional game - the prem players should be development or of a good club standard. But that's just my preference and probably wishful thinking. We seem very far from this.

For example, on Sunday v Fiji - he made 3 tackles, missed 1 and had 3 runs for 0 mtrs. Add to that he's a deckchair in every scrum.. A high impact player...

For a player who is talked of as being good in the loose those are pretty telling stats.

Apparently he, along with Leon brown, is injured.

Gutted. That's one bare cupboard then.

Hahah great question.

He is currently with the Scottish squad but hasn’t played I don’t believe. A mid-week transfer would be class

⬆️This is why we think Carre is rubbish. It's not the first time either, yet he still get's another go. Think of all the promising young players who've been permanently dropped after stats like that. Compare that with Wyn's 10 tackles in 25 minutes...yet he's judged to be the unfit one!
In a way, I'd like to see Carre and Wyn on the field at the same time but then I think of scrumtime ...
Let's hope Wyn gets back to us in one piece

Rhys Griff John has been released back to us following his HIA ! So another man down probably for SA? ☹️

Game was played on the Sunday & this match is 6 days later so in my mind it would have been very unlikely him playing.
