A point on Ken he's missed a lot of playing time, with injuries, I would say around 2 seasons in total when he had a bad knee injury and the neck issue and many thought he would have to retire.  He would have had another 10/15 caps then.
Be careful when you pick up the stick.........IT MAY BE THE WRONG END!!!!!!!!!!

Personally id like to test the XV we're likely to have week in/out next season

15. McNicholl
14. Conbeer
13. Morgan
12. Hughes
11. S Evans/Rogers
10. Costelow
09. Blacker

08. Kalamafoni
07. Davis (Jac if not fit)
06. Tuipolotu
05. Lousi
04. M Jones
03. Sebastian
02. Elias
01. R Evans

Bench: Wyn, Ken, Scholtz, Ball, Shingler, Cawdor/Hardy, Dinky, Foxy

Fairly strong XV with a big bench.
There's still Sam & Harri O'Connor, Jac Price, Joe Roberts, Eddie James, Ioan Nicholas, Tomi Lewis and that's without the other boys who have played this season Mathias etc.
As long as you win it once, you'll never be forgotten

I would find it bizarre if we called back players from loan to play in this pointless competition. Let them develop in a proper tournament.

Hope Eddie James gets some time for either an A side or the odd appearance for us next season. Midfield is a weak point for us. Seems to be more of a 12 though and we need 13s.

I believe Joe Roberts is due back next week, only on a 2month loan, could well have been the plan to get him game time at Ampthill then give him the shirt for this mini-tournament

I've heard Ospreys aren't re-signing Scott Williams
Might be worth a punt, won't cost nearly as much as when he left, can play inside + outside centre plus wing if needed, available year round and could well help Joe and Tyler improve.
Aslong as he gets over his current injury this season.

If Scott can prove his fitness, I'd have him back. He could give us some experience and stability.

If it was a heart decision, we’d probably almost all say yes. However, the head says about these injuries.....A recovered, fit, Scott would be great.

Scott a legend, but not worth the signing unless on a pay per match deal. Terrible injury record sadly. If Roberts is indeed back, I’d give him a run!

With some of our senior players having long term concussion issues, i'd rather see them fresh at the start of next season than play in some meaningless tournament(now that the saffrrs have withdrawn). I would certainly put rob, samson, cubby, blade in that category.

Does this actually happen in pro rugby?

I’ve thought that too. We could do with another centre with some power. Scott is only 30. If a comprehensive medical says his body can still do it I’d have him back here.

We will have our strongest side far more often next season. The structure of the season is changing
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

Was what Brew on? Something like that for Scott might work.
