I know its early but I couldn't resist!!!!

15. McNichol 14. Rogers 13. Foxy 12. Scott 11. Steff 10. Costelow 9. Hardy
1. Rob 2. Ryan 3. Samson 4. Morgan Jones 5. Sam Louisi 6. Aaron 7. Dan Davis 8. Sione

16. Daf 17. Steff Thomas/Phil Price 18. WGJ 19. Blade Thompson 20. Tom Phillips 21. Blacker/Harri 22. Dan Jones 23. Corey Baldwin/Tyler Morgan.

My thinking is that we are a little weak at 4/5 after the above 2 so with Blade & Aaron in the 23 we have the ability to play either of them at 5; if we are struggling at scrum time we could use Sione at 5 with Blade at 8.

snap. I'd go with that side although I might be tempted to have Angus O'Brien on the bench for dinky as he is faster, more athletic and can cover 15 - possibly more in keeping with the style we want to play.

I think Ryan Conbeer will be very unlucky to miss out on selection. has shown lethal form.

Oh yes, he's got a real eye for the tryline. He's played very well in the 2 games so far.

This is Dwaynes major issue, in certain positions we have a majesty of riches. Just imagine when we have Liam, Leigh, Patch, Tomi, Cawdor etc back. Who would be a coach.LOL

Dan will be better at closing the game out and offers something different to Costelow so I’d go with him on the bench, although it’s certainly a tight and difficult decision.

What is happening about Patch? On social media he has been cycling around Wales all summer but not included in the recent squads? Or have I missed something?

Patch isn’t a mid term injury I don’t think. Might be fit for the opening game in fact,, but I guess it would be a big ask to start him after such a long lay off. Likewise for Scott. Foxy at 12 and Tyler at 13 for me.

Back 3 is as Supertaf says..’ a majesty of riches’ and that excludes Sanjay. McNichol is the only ‘ probable’.

Conbeer will be very unlucky if he doesn't make the starting XV

I agree with fellow posters it will be difficult to select the back 3. Ryan, Corey, Steff & Tom have all looked sharp. I tend to agree with Wil that Johnny looks favourite for the 15 shirt.

Well the above was a tad early but the game is on us now - any further thoughts. i heard today that Baldwin is not available due to a toe injury.

Agree with most of that GPR.

I think they may continue to use Shingler in 2nd row, with Blade being used at 6.

Close call Dan and Costellow, maybe Costellow off the bench for impact.

We should have a strong bench, whoever makes it.
