Don't know whether you watched that rubbish London Irish performance yesterday when they blew away Harlequins. Even before a red card intervened against Harlequins they were getting hammered 21-7. Pretty tasty team from where I was sitting with a pack we can only dream of.

Early days for sure but can't help thinking Borthwick has made a rod for his own back in selecting Farrell as his captain. I remain unconvinced that he is a 12 & shoehorning him into the team because he is captain is a mistake in my book - either he deserves the 10 shirt or he is on the bench.

Italy played some very good stuff and were denied the win at the end, as they pushed for the try and conversion to win the match.

France were given a proper game.

Wish Wales played as cohesively.

A good watch. Just like the U20’s match on Friday. France a little fortunate to win both, just.

Italy will be looking to targe us in rome. Their 15 is top class and they have a big strong back row if they had a better 10 they could really go places

Thought Italy were tremendous....France were fortunate.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

There are a lot of the English forwards over rated ..dombrant is a big slow guy , will will be exposed against fast fit back rows

Just saw a tweet by Will Boyde.  He's just finished his first month with a team in Spain in the suburbs of Barcelona.  I didn't know he'd left Cardiff.

Two poor kicks from allan, cost Italy.
The second, should have been on the 5 metre mark , giving the Italian forwards a chance.
Nevertheless, no one  expected the Italians to run France that close.

Unless Wales improve ,we will have an embarrassing defeat in Rome.
Its pleasing to see how Italy have improved, and beating the Aussies was no fluke.
Benetton, now, are a very hard side to beat at home
I stood yer on tanner bank

Far too good a player for that league but kudos to him for making the move.

I enjoyed that France v Italy game. I wouldn't want to be the French players when Edwards gets them back at base this morning. 18 penalties given away. They contributed massively to keeping Italy in the game when in reality at 19-6 one more try and it would have been over - complacency is not something Edwards tolerates.

He will understand that if they repeat that sloppiness in Dublin its goodbye title.

Agreed.  I suppose he went where he had an offer.  He's got a young family out there with him so a good time to see somewhere new.
