World Rugby I see has again botched their response to head injuries by mysteriously handing Fagerson a suspension which makes him available for the first game against South Africa. Frankly I have lost all respect for those charged with upholding the values of our game. Those involved would stand an excellent chance of some lofty role within the WRU with their recent handling of the Sexton & Fagerson issues.
Apparently two of the three members of the disciplinary committee were Welsh.

Don’t see what this new fascination is with Welsh players head butting English players shoulders. Don’t they know it’s illegal 🤷‍♂️

If Portugal find some form we could be playing off against Australia for last place in the Group

Well the fake battles are nearly over and time is approaching for the real thing. Momentum in sport is massive & at the moment that momentum has really swung behind South Africa who make a habit of getting their preparation right.

Ireland are stuttering, winning for sure but they do not look convincing and injuries are mounting. England & Wales are making up the numbers. France will look for a convincing performance today - they will have noted the brutal demolition of New Zealand on Friday with great interest. I am no Ladram but if I was  I would not be looking outside of France or South Africa for World Champion with Fiji very capable of getting to a semi final.

Portugal 's backs can score tries from anywhere on the pitch. The forwards may struggle though.

Gatland has timed it perfectly very few injuries and a team fitter than any team to leave these shores.
The biggest problem we may have is that with two Captains who collects the cup?

She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

Whilst Wales are fitter after their extended summer camp, so are the other teams as we saw at Twickenham with England much stronger and fitter than Wales in the last 20 mins, despite being down to 12 men at times.
Scotland and Ireland also won their games this weekend, by virtue of their superior fitness and a very poor England almost managed a come back against Fiji. So any strategy relying in Wales being fitter than their opponents, is likely to be a forlorn hope.

It’s ok nurse has just given me my morning tablet. We could get to the semi final by default but it will be a very false position. We are lucky to be in world top ten. I do however think there is a future with right selection and playing a more expansive game we have a few gems coming through in Wales.
