Good results for the scarlets tonight.

I think Dragons beating Benetton would have been preferred.
Tonight, that might have been only something a TMO might’ve managed in the old days back in the EU to the west of us

PS at least your reverse psychology on the rugby results worked in our favour

3 games to play. Cardiff 5 points ahead, Ospreys 1 point ahead of us.

Can we overhaul them for the Welsh Shield?

It will be close.

Cardiff (34) Zebre (A) Connacht (A) Ospreys (JD)
Ospreys (30) Dragons (H) Edinburgh (A) Cardiff (JD)
Scarlets (29) Sharks (H) Glasgow (A) Dragons (JD)

I don't think we can.  You have to think that Cardiff will beat Zebre so thats them onto 39 & we have the much harder run in for me. 2 wins from the last 3 would be good//

Thats the logical suggestion but the way the team are performing I certainly would not bet against us securing 15 points from our 3 games. Then it will get interesting.

P.S. Hope your Portuguese rumblings have subsided. Wink

Do-able?

Both are unlikely and would require us to win all 4 remaining games

I wasn't far off on the R15 outcomes!
Cardiff didn't get their LBP though, so the Welsh shield is still up for grabs yay!

We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

For me much boils down to the Cardiff v Zebre game. Zebre are an odd team, they have periods of play where they look top notch, closely followed by U13's type execution.

In every game and why they stand at 0/15. Cardiff are winning that.

I would be astonished if we get anything from the Glasgow game. Hope Im wrong as we are going up but they will be a challenge. Its also galling that Cardiff are likely to win the HC place yet arent in our class at the moment and surely wont be a force next year if all their leavers are true. Our fault for having such a poor first half of the season

I fear no one let's just go out to win and win well.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

Aren't in our class at the moment? They've won more games than us....

I sense a belief growing amongst the squad which eminates from our South Sea Islanders & is carried on by the enthusiasm of young players sensing their chance. Look at the growing levels of performance from Mathias, Shaun Evans, Wainwright, Dan Davis, Eddie James & Joe Roberts. I am not saying we are the finished article as we were when we came on that 2nd half of the season run in our title year but this is the special. Nobody & I say that with the greatest respect will be fancying a trip to PYS for a knock out game.
