The most entertaining part of the Premier TV coverage was provided by the person operating the scoreboard.

The first Benetton penalty was initially worth 2 points. The halftime score was 0-0 at first showing and to cap it all off our converted try was worth 8 points.

Let’s face it, that match was a case of finding the entertainment, much like the needle and the haystack.

comparisons to the season we won the league are pointless,we played a style of rugby that took everyone by surprise and they couldn't cope and it was fantastic to watch, the following season everyone had sussed us out and we have struggled since and now we are back the the darks days of kick and not chase.

But the comparison is valid. Quite a few on this forum were asking for Pivac's head the season we ended up winning the league.

If Uzair Cassiem wasn’t such a nice guy, he’d be onto Ofsted to direct an inspection towards that poster’s establishment. Wink

Not sure a mid-season change would be possible/effective. Delaney may be ok as a head coach but I have serious doubts about those below him, especially as far as back play is concerned. Last night's selection at 9, 10, 12 killed  any hope of 'the Scarlet way'. Those players are just not capable of doing it and kick chase was the only option. Lord Lucan would have been safe on the wing.

On a more positive note I thought the pack played quite well. I know they could do better as far as the line out and ball carrying is concerned but they provided enough good ball for a decent set of backs to exploit.

Let's hope the coaches don't stick their heads in the sand and listen to constructive opinion. Too often we've seen the blank wall of self-delusion at the Parc.
What's going on?

Would be a big shame if true, I thought he had a good game last night.  I believe he was the only one to win us a turnover last night. It was effectively reversed when Kennedy was ridiculously penalised for a no arms tackle. Having Uzair in the squad gives us the option of moving Kalamafoni in to the S/R as we did last night. Lousi out, Tex going on international duty, Morgan likely to get a ban, Rawlins injured, don't know how long, and we're looking a little thin.
