I wouldn’t be surprised if he was called in for an interview next week.

Not sure why Wales would want him. He didn’t achieve much in his (admittedly short) stint with us, and also didn’t make a success of his role with the All Blacks.

No one in the world would want to be the welsh coach with the lack of players useless regions and a game controlled by the free be brigade in junior rugby

It depends on who’s available and interested in the job. The WRU pay will be good, but looking at the talent available the Wales Head Coach role isn’t one of the most attractive jobs around in rugby. I don’t see Mooar getting the top job but it wouldn’t be a shock if he ended up taking Steve’s role.

Mooar would certainly be in the frame if Robertson featured. As to who would want the Wales job - that is an interesting question. For sure the England job is far more attractive £800K against £400K to start with. Talent pool huge compared to Wales. Nothing much to choose between the competence of the Unions in all honesty.

Mooar has achieved very little. Bailed on us rather sharpish, and then smoked out from the ABs which coincided with a turning point in their team. Sure he did the media stuff well, but he didn’t show anything special on field.

I wouldn’t take either. Shuffling from one crisis to the next just sets the rot deeper.
