Looked dynamic from what I saw when Llandovery were on the S4C Prem matches. Hopefully we can have a look at him in Scarlet.

Kalamafoni leaving at the end of the season to pursue an opportunity in France. Sounds like from the comments it was his choice to leave rather than being let go - perhaps from the contract uncertainty: "We are disappointed to lose him but fully respect his decision."

Will be sorry to see him go, has been a great servant for us and also been available regularly/played a lot of games. Contract uncertainty around the regions can't have helped. Oh well, time for Carwyn to step up, although I'd still like us to sign another out and out number eight. Not sure what's going on with Blade, but we will need another body I would imagine.

Good luck to him he has certainly given his all deserves a big payday in France.
Could be good for Carwyn but another 8/ 6 would be handy for next season perhaps we can tempt Christ from Exeter.
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

A huge loss for us, Sione will take some replacing.

I just hope we can replace with someone of his quality, but I doubt it with the salary/squad cuts forthcoming

He's made a great contribution to the Scarlets and put his body on the line, often when he was almost the only reliable carrier we had.
All the best Sione.

We knew this was coming though so its no surprise. If the rumours are true, its a bit insulting to him so good luck and he can now earn a proper salary in France.

Superb player ...France will love him and good luck to him. He has been a colossus for us ...giving everything in the Scarlets colours and for that he didn't only come for the money but a statement he was the real deal and will give his all.
Over the years we have had servants to the club that have stepped up and played consistently well, they are the players that stick in the mind from 40 years ago to this our current season.
I used to get seriously miffed when players left the club, but as you get a little bit wiser , life is to be enjoyed and challenges embraced, I will miss the certainty of his class and effort, but I will also be grateful for everything he gave for the Scarlets...true giant who deserves the best life offers.

Thankyou Kal.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us"

Someone on here mentioned that Fifita, Lousi and Kalamafoni were close, I hope the news doesn’t upset the other two when it comes them staying with the region, whenever that may be.
