I'd genuinely take a punt on him TBH, as long as there were strict clauses in his contract to protect us from having to hay huge wages if he was still injured/injury resurfaced.
Maybe a payment structure depending on the number of games he'd play for us?

If fit a phenomenonal player, am sure he will have plenty of suitors.

Someone like Aled Walters would be ideal for the role IMO.

Current head of physical performance at Leicester, former Springbok head of performance and ex-Munster head of medical department.

Also a local Carmarthenshire born boy and a Welsh speaker.

Ticks all the boxes for me.
He’s got a job to do at Leicester

In fairness to Haydn, he did say 'someone like'........

Sounds born for the job Haydn - great spot. He took a huge amount of credit from the Springboks' Erasmus who probably took him with him from Munster.

It's hard to guess this one, I was trying to work out the profile of the candidate, so just googled 'Rugby performance director'.

Two names that come up, Jim Mallinder and Conor O'shea, although with variance to their job titles.
Both have only recently started new jobs.

I guess it's the kind of role that Hore, and latterly,  Bobby Strudgeon have done for Wales.

Trying to think of a name that is coming in is therefore difficult....

Can't see it being a role for the likes of Malinder or O'Shea. I would have thought it would be a person with a sports science/medical background as they are going to sit above the current medical/physio staff.
