So the government are now refusing to hand over the WhatsApp messages (that Boris released) to the judge carrying out the covid enquiry that they appointed her to do.
This can only mean one thing - that these messages place Softy Sunak in a very precarious position, as he was the chancellor at the time and was Boris’s right hand man, meaning that if Boris was running the government (whilst breaking his own covid rules) then Sunak was doing likewise. This makes Boris look like a Tory with morals compared to Sunak. Sunak was one of the Tory Government ministers who wanted him ousted due to what they deemed his liability as a leader / Prime Minister because of his handling of the original covid lockdown rule breaking, now they are interfering with the enquiry. Most of the countries who have held enquiries have completed them yet we still can’t get it started, due to government interference/ meddling. The irony is that contracts for covid PPE contracts were done via WhatsApp, Matt Handjob’s memoirs were published on the back of him handing over all his WhatsApp messages to the author, yet the Tory party don’t feel it necessary to release them to a judge in order to get the enquiry done and the lessons of such an enquiry learned. This Tory government are becoming increasingly more out of touch with reality as every week goes by.

So following on from Braverman’s speeding fine/ speed awareness course fiasco, it’s now come to light the 3 Tory and 1 SNP MP’s have had the cheek and audacity to claim back their fines via expenses.
This just goes to show that whilst some MPs go into politics to make a difference to the areas and candidates that they represent, most go into it to take advantage of the perks and privileges that they enjoy as MPs, including using your profile to gain personal advantage and benefit. This needs looking at, I can’t think of any other vocation where you are allowed to claim back fines (for breaking the law) within anyone at least querying it and refusing to authorise it. I see that Sunak is now under pressure to refuse to sign off Boris Johnson’s honours list. The fact that someone who is currently being investigated is even allowed to submit a honours list is just appalling. Add to that the fact that Truss is also allowed to submit a list is just sickening. At this rate, the House of Lords will outgrow the Houses of Parliament and they will need to build a much bigger chamber to hold all the new new Tory members. However, I’m sure that the cost of any extension to the chamber can be kept down in cost to maybe a peerage or two 😉. |

A plan to house 300 asylum seekers in a single hotel has prompted a council to say it is "extremely worried" by the idea. Carmarthenshire council said the Home Office proposes to use the Stradey Park Hotel in Furnace, Llanelli. The authority said it had concerns about the "cohesion of the local community" and whether services in the area could cope. The Home Office said it was making "every effort to reduce hotel use" to house asylum seekers. |

Excellent Legend....as usual! It beggers belief, how people like Johnson, get away with it. I really wonder what conclusion, the Commons Select Committee will arrive at about him. Their deliberations must surely be made public soon. The UK is such a Conservative (small c)country, that the upper echelon like Boris and his cronies(including the wealthiest), the Royal family and those filling the house of Lords appear to operate with impunity, while other poor buggers struggle to live. What a difference in other European countries like France where there are protests on the streets about pension changes, (when their pension ages in lower than ours). Is it the acceptance of been thrown at us .." the British reserve"?

For someone who has earned in excess of £5million since standing down as PM (and that’s just what he’s declared), the fact that the tax payer is picking up his legal costs for the enquiry into whether he lied yet again (sorry inadvertently mislead parliament) is just disgusting and so wrong, when hard working people are using food banks, yet would have to find the funds to pay for legal representation (if they needed it).
It just goes to show how corrupt the government system is, how it favours those who already earn 6 times the national average income. I’m not surprised that these incidents have now been reported to the police, as if you believe that what you are doing is right you will continue to do so. So one party (sorry a works meeting) will soon be followed by yet more works meetings. We’ll be picking up the bill for this latest investigation (no doubt).

I still think the question on where on earth Johnson got the money for his Oxfordshire house (with moat) are legitimate. The guy was being given gifts of luxury wallpaper and asking cronies to facilitate him loans not too long ago. We all know he's crooked, I would now like it proven beyond doubt.
Wonder what the odds of him doing time are? Probably based on whether the judge likewise went to Eton or not, so 50/50.

They're more like Reeves and Mortimer to me where I just think "what on earth am I watching?" whilst laughing away slightly hysterically. Plus Vic Reeve's sleazy leg rub thing to any woman next to him does remind me of Johnson.

So only do we have Braverman, back in the news, with the negative headlines associated with her speeding fine, BUT now its Johnson again, now been reported to the police by the cabinet office, for another alleged breach of Covid rules.
What is it with the Tories, its almost like the ' muppet show', when one popped down, another popped up...all for the wrong reason's...one after another! The MUPPET show, of is a great analogy, for this apology for a government

I hadn’t seen that, am I surprised, not really. How come this is only now in the public domain, I can’t remember hearing her declaring this when she put this Rwanda scheme in front of parliament.
It will be interesting how much she earned from training these judges, whether the true amount was declared (if during her time as an MP, and whether her contacts had anything to do with the decision to pick Rwanda over any other country.
I really feel sorry for any person placed in front of any judges she has trained, you may find that they too have no moral compass or empathy and will be deporting prisoners or immigrants from Rwanda. |

Don't forget the new issue , apparently she has previously trained judges in Rwanda , and it seems the £149 million we are paying them , could be seeing it %crossing the Atlantic in a brown envelope ...She seemed to have forget to mention the potential conflict to the said authorities when the Rwanda project was being accelerated and she took over from the previous Facist

So in this week’s episode of the classic soap opera the ‘Tory Party’ it’s the wonderful Braverman back n the spotlight again. Last week it was her upping the rhetoric on immigration whilst contradicting her Pm, this week it’s her trying to use her power to get a 1-1 speeding awareness course because she can’t be seen mingling with hard working people who just accept their punishment - sorry I meant to say it was for security reasons.
Sunak has claimed to have spoken to his ethics advisor about it, but that’s all. He is unable to do anything about her because of her strong links to the right of the party, the part of the Tory party that he needs to keep onside.
