Surely this should be based on meritocracy. Without a doubt Llandovery are the leading feeder club to the Scarlets.

I personally dont think the regions, if they get to choose who, should choose the club in the same locality as the region i.e. Llanelli, Swansea,Cardiff &Newport, only for the reason that they should expand the region outside the town/city. I think that it would have a positive effect on the new 8 team super league. Let those 4 clubs join the next division down.
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

Think WRU want to go back to the old merit style league well known teams like years ago

Be interesting to see who would get the three wild picks if it is one feeder club from each region and RGC in the new league

because 4/6 sides don’t want to be removed from the prem for non playing reasons, you would expect cardiff llanelli newport and swansea to be nominated along side rcg. So tge likes of llandovery ponty bridgend could all miss out

A floor is a minimum spend. I was just thinking that as we’d want this new league to be competitive you don’t want one team spending a pittance on their squad and getting smashed week in week out by the others.
Thanks

Sorry, I thought we were talking about the proposed 8 team league to provide a bridge between U18 and pro level.

Initially it won't be about catching other nations, it's about not falling even further behind and then once we've stabilised trying to catch up.

All the little things are a mess, the 18's women's and men's played yesterday but nothing about the scores until this morning for the men's, and there's still nothing for the women's. The WRU have only just confirmed the dates for all the community finals, the first one is less than a fortnight away, they should have been confirmed months ago to allow people to plan around them.

Wherever you look things need fixing.

A total inept mess , I totally agree with you 101%

Is that Martin Anayi’s letter to Santa?

That's the realistic one, his original one probably has 10 countries.
