The Toulon supporters have a bar which they run. It is located just off the roundabout next to the ground. We had a fantastic welcome there last time with free food & screens to watch other games.

Just to expand on this, we've been invited there on the Saturday at 5pm, they're putting on a buffet again and there will no doubt be a lot of singing involved.

In addition when we were there last time my wife & I visited a cafe/bar right next to the main arched entrance La Tribune the day before. Great welcome & we met a load of Toulon players who had finished training that day who popped in for a coffee.. Also met some of the sky boys who were setting up the outside broadcast kit. Graham Simmons & Will Greenwood.

Hi, me and Mrs EO are 99.9% certain not to make this trip.

We've been struck down by a vicious lurgi (autotext came up with Luigi but it prevented us being in Parma too) that has hung around since early last week. We are making our final decision in the morning and have 2 tickets for seats that we will be happy to send by gtd next day delivery to someone that is travelling but hasn't got tickets yet.

No cost to you. We'd rather they could be put to good use.

Do get in touch.

I'm hoping that in the long term everyone who wishes to post an URL will also know how to 'hyperlink' it!

As younger readers may not know, the 'dreaded lurgi' is in fact a fictional disease invented by the late, lamented Spike Milligan (Epitaph: "I told them I was ill!") and Eric Sykes for the still remembered radio comedy 'The Goon Show':

EO - I'm sorry to hear of your predicament, and I'm sure it's not imaginary!
