Echo that best of luck to all those selected.

Noticed a huge Cardiff Dragons contingent in the squad, even though last years Scarlets U18 were very successful, beat Dragons Ospreys and Cardiff, though did also loose to Cardiff

Indeed. Can't help feel for the Scarlet/Ospreys youngsters with all the uncertainty.

Does anyone know the score? Poor coverage online - can't find any news.

Congratulations to our youth player Carwyn Leggatt-Jones, who started at fly-half for Wales U19 in their match against France in Paris, where Wales put in a strong performance but were narrowly beaten 26โ€“19. Carwyn showed real composure in the No. 10 shirt and continues to impress as he develops through the Scarlets and national pathway. A proud moment for him and for everyone supporting his journey.

Because heโ€™s not good enough yet. Heโ€™s only played a handful of minutes for the Quins so far. Age Grade and SRC is the right place for him at this stage of his development.

Elis Price is probably the next cab off the rank for us at 10.

I watched the last half hour. Wales were leading 19-14 when I found the link. The pitch didnโ€™t look in great condition so there was a lot of kicking and Franceโ€™s bigger pack earned them the couple of tries to go ahead. Wales had some chances to score late on but couldnโ€™t quite take them. The resolution was quite poor and the French commentator didnโ€™t seem to have learned any of our playersโ€™ names so I canโ€™t give too much of a write up on who played well.

It was pleasing that we were so competitive with France away in France though.

'Twas ever the case, I think talent departs people on their 21st birthday in Gwent because they're always very well represented up to that point and then nothing.

I'd give Carwyn some time of the bench in friendlies ahead of Price, I think his odds of making it are significantly higher.

Thanks for that - I couldn't find anything about it.
