Embarrassment of riches in the back row means that Osian Williams and Kossouth don't even make the bench. Yestyn Cooke does however take a place on the bench.

Watching the u20s. Pritchard could be the TH we have been waiting for since Samson.CLJ a bit of a mixed bag but clearly a talent . We should sign the Exeter 2nd row. Good fame and decent atmosphere.

Gwynne is a talent. We missed a trick keeping him.

Yestyn Cook is a big boy, 22 months out injured with his knee. Does anyone know what the injury was.

I’d take Gwynne over Plumtree or Douglas for us now. Talented.

Howe, Gwynne & Emmanuel - the pick of the bunch. Our two tight heads doing well. CLJ holding his own despite some errors but he is getting exactly what he needs - minutes & challenges at a higher level. Think the three mentioned will be challenging for senior honours very soon.

Pretty certain I saw it happen when he made his U20 debut, what, 2 seasons ago? I can’t remember exactly but it was televised and wasn’t a Scarlers game. Came on and within a couple of minutes was screaming in agony IIRC. Think it was torn knee ligaments.

I actually think Osian Williams is the better prospect. Slightly shorter but can fill out but he’s got the top two inches and was still sprinting across in defence at the end.

Lots to be happy about with this U20. I know we are guilty or saying this a lot but there are some real, GENUINE, prospects in this group across many positions.

There are a few prospects in that lot. Over the last 2 weeks I was surprised to find myself thinking the wingers had questions over them - given the Cardiff lot love Tom Bowen this surprised me.  The centres were pretty good and CLJ did make several mistakes but generally didn't look overwhelmed and you could see him doing a fair bit of talking and has a lovely pass. There was a lot of him lining up as if for the pull back pass but the 9 putting it straight to a pod of forwards or someone at 12. I got the impressions the Scottish 10 caused problems for the defence when he ran it.

In the pack,  the back row is competitive to say the least. The lad who played 6 Vs France (Osian Williams?) stood out for me until subbed off. The front five did reasonably well both games.

Bench..  the team has dropped off in the last 20 for 3 games in a row. Hard to put a finger on it, but I'm not sure it's the replacement forwards.

Taking off Tom Howe and CLJ doesn't help. Absolute competitors.
