I'm not sure that's true. go here - https://www.rugbypass.com/six-nations/stats/

Scroll down so that you can select two players in comparison and you'll see that apart from turnovers won (5-0 in favour of Curry - which I would argue says more about the rest of the England pack compared to the Welsh pack rather than Curry completely) Morgan beats him on everything so far in the Six Nations.

My views are well known on Jac,. For me Curry every time - bigger by a lot and better over the ball. I think Jac will have done really well to get in the squad with the competition around.

Sherratt has shown how important selection is in this game. Many suggesting that Gatland's options were very limited well try 8/9 changes to your starting team which suggests to me that the talent may well be better than we think & also that Gatland's MO, which hasn't changed much over 15 years, is rather outdated & does not suit the personnel available.

I am in no way expecting anything other than a comfortable Irish win but I hope to see players looking for space, offloading & backing themselves to cause the opposition some problems.

Likewise.

Yesterday in The Times, Gatland was blaming Thatcher for the decline in Welsh Rugby………..at least that was the headline tilt. The article put it into context as something said from a good few years ago, originally.

Great to see the freshness and some potential for backs play. Let’s hope people play to the best of their abilities, especially those who’ve not yet done that this campaign.

Morgan’s stats are very good you have to take into account the team around when playing for wales the only forwards doing anything are Jac, Faletau and Daf Jenkins as the rest go missing.

Jac is one of my fave players and I’d love him to come back to us and to represent Wales in a Lions shirt.

Despite you being correct that Jacs stats are superior in most areas I can still see Curry starting the tests.

I appreciate that we have only had one game showing a huge improvement albeit a losing one but surely nobody in their right minds, even within the WRU, cannot see that quality coaching which includes as their No 1 priority selection, is the major difference at International level.

Welsh forward play under Humphries has failed to improve in many years yet the introduction of Adam Jones has seen a marked upturn in the nuts & bolts department of front 5. The WRU should say thanks very much to Humphries & replace him with Adam regardless of who gets the main gig.

It ain't rocket science - most of us on fever have been saying it since Gatland returned - his methods were outdated, strong suspicions were felt that he just bore grudges with his treatment of Nicky Smith, Rhys Carre & Sam Parry & others & his gameplan was stuck in reverse unable to change regardless of talent at his disposal or indeed the opposition.

Sharratt has been a breath of fresh air yet even his appointment leads one to believe it was stumbled on by the WRU rather than a thought out plan. Can we all hope that this leadership at the WRU can get the DOR & head coach appointments right. Lets just pray that the person Gatland refers to as having an increasing influence at the WRU is a real rugby man who knows the score. Wil suggest that person may be Ken or Warby - either would fit the bill but I would also include Jamie Roberts in that group. He is after all within the group already & has been pretty outspoken about how poor Wales have become. He even confronted Gatland when he tried to divert attention from himself by suggesting ex players had been angry with Roberts for voicing his opinions. He went as far as to say in public that it was totally untrue.

Jamie is many things but he cannot be bracketed along with other well meaning but lets say overly loud ex players who shall remain nameless. He is a bright guy who is in the media & can express views which may not be overly complimentary in language which never gets personal. His demeanour after the Italy game in the studio suggest to me that he had seen more than enough & had realised it was time to act.
