Yeah, a couple of reasons really, mostly basic errors - silly pens, missed lineouts, handling errors (it was very wet mind). The application was still there but too high an error count this week.

Add to that losing Al Call early doors, and Kayleigh Powell not controlling or convincing at OH and it all compounded.

You can still see the improvements and the game plan, and most of the reasons they lost today are easy fixes. It'll come.

Not alone in going down under, pulling off a surprise win and getting well beaten in the next game. In fact it’s the normal cycle of things.

Wales can raise their expectations of getting out of their RWC group, which were very low pre last week.

Didn't see it, but the loss of Callendar in the 4th minute (I think) must have had an impact on the score, if not the result. She was terrific at the breakdown last week, winning turnovers and pens, or at least slowing the ball down. No point feeling too downhearted - last week showed that big improvements have been made.

They showed both live on BBC Iplayer. You can still find them on there, but you have to search "Australia v Wales"
