The worlds gone mad Wales to play in HC next year be the next fxxxing idea of Rog. Warburton has sold himself short and is now Rogs puppet. Good luck to him but how galling is it to listen to Rog crowing.
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

IMO, this means that the WRU have accumulated more power at the expense of the regions.

Warburton plummets in the standing of the typical rugby fan, not just the O's follower - who's sound btw.

@simonrug My understanding is @cardiff_blues won't play him next season unless there is a new Participation Agreement in place.

We really need to wait and see what the Blues have to say about this whole situation.

It would be wrong to rubbish them and hurl accusations just because the WRU have made a press release.

We have seen this devisive tactic far too many times to just take the bait.............

Feel sick reading Lewis' comments on the BBC website.
"A great triumph in the best interests of all Welsh rugby" what planet is he on?
Cant wait to hear the blues view on this

Gareth Davies clarified it on the debate - they require the agreement of all four regions to play a centrally contracted player. Any of the other three regions could, therefore, veto him playing for the Blues.

The union could also, if they thought Tipuric was a better 7, demand now that Warbs plays 6 (or even outside bloody half if they want).

A view from the Blues forum:

The first wedge driven into rrw and it had to come from him.
Really hope we never see him in a Cardiff shirt again. What gives him the right to waltz into the side whenever Rodger Lewis decides! I'd rather Ellis Jenkins plays every week and develops.

What now happens if say a Llanelli international player is out of contract and believes he should be centrally contracted but does not get one. It divides the regional teams, it will divide the national team and cause bad feeling with supporters with accusations of favoritism.

Really hope the regions stick together on this as Gareth Davies suggested and do not play any centrally contracted players.

seems that the blues weren't party to this deal being struck. apparently they are not happy with the deal, and with Roger Lewis for saying otherwise. One thing we have learnt over the last few months, is not to believe a word RL says.

Think this news will only make the RRW resolve stronger.

Another thing it may do is divide the changing room in the National side.

I can't see how Alun Wyn and Warburton can be amicable about this. One signing has jeapordised the other's future surely.

Warburton has lost all my respect, can't believe how far Roger has managed to put his hand up his ar*e. PUPPET!!

Does beg the question if the regions won't play him until a new PA is signed, and the PRL insist they won't play any CC players. Who will the WRU loan him to? France?

Also what must Tips must be thinking about this news? His competition for the Welsh 7 jersey is employed by Wales.....Seems a unfair advantage to me.......just when you think Welsh rugby can't get any worse.

This is for next season, so presumably, the dispute will be over by then.

But, personally I hope the regions NEVER play totally centrally contracted players, so your point could still be valid by August.

Munster probably. Just to top it all off.

Wales to underperform in 6 Nations as a result of this gross stupidity.

Just read the WRU statement in full. Seems to me its designed to suggest they its a collaboration without actually saying that, typical Lewis tactic.
"launch of a new arrangement", "WRU intends that he will be released for Cardiff blues", "grateful to Peter Thomas for his understanding"
Suggests an agreement, but none of it actually says that there is any
