We met George last night.....

Thats George Rashbrook not George North Tongue

George is the Scarlets General Manager for Marketing.

So why did we meet him?

  •     To let him know who Crys16 are, Both the Trust and its board members
  •     To let him know what the we can do for the club
  •     To see what the club can do to help us

However the main reason we had a meeting with him was for......

Next seasons “Season Tickets”

As you may know after last years poorly communicated re-structure of the season tickets, we met with the Scarlets Management to discus/argue your views with them.

As part of that discussion we suggested to them that for the next season, before releasing the new prices/changes (if any) call us in, let us look at them and see what we think. Because if we don’t like them I’m sure that you wont.

So we spent just over an hour with George last night before the game doing just that.

Now the packages haven’t been fully finalised and approved by Mark and Nigel yet, however I can tell you something.

·         There’s no major change to any structure of the tickets. Ie the blocks aren’t moving again

·         We were fairly happy with what we saw

·         Season Ticket Renewal packs will be sent out before the end of the season

As soon as we know more, we will try and keep you up to date.

if you keep posting updates on S.F., and send out minutes of meetings to non-members, its no wonder the mebership is so low.

It's a difficult one though.
 
Last Tuesday night was quite successful. We had about 40 renewals / new members.
 
Of the renewals, quite a lot were lapsed members who had not re-newed last year and the year before. One could argue that getting the e-mails, SMS, SF updates may have contributed to them returning.
 
There's all sorts of reasons why people don't join / renew.
 
We would be interested to know the reasons why and what else supporters would like to see us do which would persuade them to join.

They don't hold meetings in England, but i saw the light and joined. Crys16 is more than just meetings and a buffet isn't it. Although meetings during school holidays or around game times (appreciate coaches are not available then) would make it easier for exiles like myself to attend.
