Why isn't Sparrow there? Deemed not good enough or injured?
Do you think Martyn Madden would marry me?

Too old, I have his DOB as 17/11/05. So he’s 20 prior to Jan 1, which is the cutoff.

Did Tiaan ever play U20's because I don't remember seeing him play a game for them?

He didn’t. I think his illness didn’t help, missed most of the 18-19 year old period, and was getting back to fitness earlier this year.

Wow that's crazy. Considering Morgan Morse and Jonny Green played so often for them to see Tiaan not play a game is insane to me.

Ok so on that how has Tiaan played for Llandovery and if well should we start to blood him towards the end of this season? He was so good for the academy a few years ago I was so excited by him.

All but 3 of the Welsh back row are made up of Scarlets or ex Scarlets. We had a glut of them come through at the same time & actually they're all good friends.

Always a shame to lose players, but no way we could develop half a dozen at one time.

This is where Peel is poor, Gwynne is good enough to be given a start by Gloucester in a champions cup match but if he was with us he probably wouldn’t be deemed ready until he was at least 21 years old and had played at least half a season of rugby in the SRC.
We have this complete reluctance to play someone too young or early in their career.

Largely agree but I think Gwynne did well in the early season Premiership cup games and has been a regular since then so Gloucester like other PREM teams have a competition where they can try out young talent at a level which is better than most games at championship level  and can fast track those who thrive.
