Wrigley talking about pictures I think your mate was on Welsh news at 6:3O last Monday night. Must have been at the Parc for the Lions game.

As I stayed at Toronto and only left the city to see Niagara, I didn't get a feel for the real Canada or Canadians. Toronto is a big city which is exactly like any other North American city. Same cars, same signage on the roads (apart from km and not miles), same licence plates, same accents, dollars spent, same sports.....I may as well have been in New York, LA or San Francisco.

Before anyone wails at me.....I know full well that's like visiting East Anglia as your only port of call in the UK and saying that the famous Scottish Highlands are crap!
I'd love to make a real stay in the east and visit places like Banff and Vancouver.

Talking of sports, the Maple Leafs Ice Hockey team were in the play-offs and were 4-1 up with minutes to play in the deciding game and totally collapsed, losing 5-4. Not even the Scarlets are that crap! The locals were not happy bunnies.

If you visit the East of Canada, you won't be seeing Banff or Vancouver, they're in the West!

Shit! I meant West. For some reason I always call New York "West" and not East although I know perfectly well that's wrong.

Well, NYC is west of Llanelli!

British Columbia is a great place to visit for the scenery - try to go onto Vancouver Island, and/or drive up one side and down the other of the rockies (amazingly, the roads either side are pretty flat and straight) - it's quite easy to cross over at the level of Jasper.

(BTW - Banff gets ridiculous tourist traffic in summer - we gave up on it!).

Not strictly a shirt, but every morning I see a Nissan 370 with the number plate "SO55 PAN"

Always wonder if it's a Scarlets fan or just a chef.

Definitely a Scarlets fan, KID A. Followed it out of the car park after a home game. And bizarrely I then followed it round the M7 in Glasgow when we played them at Firhill a couple of years ago.

We saw and tooted/waved at Y505PAN (P might've been a B) in the traffic after the Quins game last week.
