According to WoL, Hamer Webb, Costellow, Plumtree and Carter start. Mee, Edwards, Beard and Cracknell dropped.

God only knows the logic of dropping Mee and keeping Adams in the team. Either picking on reputation or Sherratt has a big Cardiff shaped say in the selection. |

It only makes sense if there was any sense of organisation in the back three defence, which clearly there isn't. It's, again, rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

Unless he is injured that is a massive balls up by the coaching staff!! Mee played really well last week.

As usual with Tandy we get poor selections. We need a porper 7 in that back row & young Mann ain't that. Mee was one of our better players last week. Still trying to fit a square peg in a round hole with Eddie poor bugger. The Scotland midfield on their day are just as dangerous as the French & look how that went. I despair.

I really don't get Tandy's thinking on dropping Mee and keeping Adams. Mee has been one of the vest back for Wales so far. Why he keeps persisting with Mann only he knows.

I really don't think Tandy is selecting teams to try and win games, he seems to totally ignore form
Adams - how he is chosen ahead of Mee, Rogers and Grady is beyond me Hawkins- this might be an unpopular view on here, but I haven't seen anything from him in a Scarlets or Wales shirt that would make me select him over JBW or to move Eddie to 12 with Grady at 13 for Wales Costellow - I agree with his selection but I don't agree with the man management of Edwards who is dropped completely with Evans left wondering why he's still on the bench Carter - not really a fan but massively relieved that Beard is dropped Backrow looks weak - Plumtree's discipline is poor, Mann is never more than a 6/10. The form backrow players aren't in the squad (Refell, Macleod, Deaves, Lawrence) Murray....I just fail to understand what is going on with the back 3 selections

I’d have had Eddie at 12 and Mcloud at 7 not sure who I would have at 13 maybe give Hennessy a go.
I probably would have not had Plumtree in the team his doubters are correct he is a liability for yellow cards I’d send him back to us until his discipline can be sorted out. Great to see Beard out of the team hopefully Carter has a good game and that’s the end of Beard. Think Tandy has the sense to now see that Ben Thomas is not an International. We are desperate for a real 8 ( I see Wainright as a 6 ) |

At first glance, it does seem odd to drop Dan from the squad but we're not privy to the conversations that have been had. It might have been the plan all along and Dan might have been aware of this even before the England game. Difficult to know without the facts.
I can see some logic in starting with either Dan/Sam and having the more experienced Jarrod on the bench. |

And keep Mann, who has collected more yellow cards than Plumtree this season?

Think you really need to check your facts - Plumtree 6 cards, Mann 1. Not even close. Stats are a wonderful thing especially if you make them up.
