I probably would have not had Plumtree in the team his doubters are correct he is a liability for yellow cards I’d send him back to us until his discipline can be sorted out.

Great to see Beard out of the team hopefully Carter has a good game and that’s the end of Beard.

Think Tandy has the sense to now see that Ben Thomas is not an International.

We are desperate for a real 8 ( I see Wainright as a 6 )

And keep Mann, who has collected more yellow cards than Plumtree this season?

Think you really need to check your facts - Plumtree 6 cards, Mann 1. Not even close. Stats are a wonderful
thing especially if you make them up. Ouch
Someone, who is normally reliable for stats posted that on X. I apologise for not verifying everything I read

No apology needed Tov. I always get amused by stats & their uses - my fault for being picky.

Tandy Tombola - are we surprised? He will pick Mann until he can't (through injury/a ban/retirement). Reffell would be so much more effective. Still don't like Hawkins at 12 and would prefer James there. Plumtree to start over Botham - there's a card waiting to happen in that combination. Dropping Dan Edwards completely, Costelow in directly over Evans and no Grady on the bench with Murray suddenly appearing. Random rolls of the dice in selection and apart from "two passses - kick" routine no discernable plan. Against the strongest available Scottish team on a high after beating England it looks to be another long afternoon.
The coaching team are not good enough, never were. I don't care what Abi's pychometric. data-led evaluation says, we know these appointments are Tesco value and nothing more.
What's going on?

Its not a leak, its a journalist making note of the players in the final training team at the Vale on the day before the announcement. The only changes would be injuries, so pretty simple really.

I sort of get the rotation with a short turnaround but I'd have expected some of the bench to start/starters to bench rather 4 drop out completely with 2 coming on not even from the bench.

Feels like Tandy is flapping a bit and hoping some new faces will bring a bit more energy, but it's the style of play and how restricted people look in their positions that feels like the issue to me.

Every team nowadays use their backrowers (and second rows in France's case!) to create extra numbers when the breakdown situation allows (both in attack and defence) but the Welsh forwards seem like they not allowed to go wider than the 10, equally the back 3 don't roam to create space and we always seem to end up looking like we've got a couple less players on the pitch.

That's a mix of poor awareness from players and poor tactics/coaching.

We need to start picking players with more rugby smarts, people like Murray on the wing, Morse in the backrow, Rhys Davies in the second row. Perceived low error and high (ineffective) workrate really isn't working.

Good luck, hope the Tigers lads do well, I'd have kept Cracknell in (is he injured, don't break him we need him for the Prem). Reffell is captain for the Tigers in the Cup against Hardlywins on Saturday.

Has he actually dropped Mee ?
In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

"Rested" probably the word he uses but yes. Mee needs game time next to LRZ those 2 are part of our back 3 for years to come.

Still trying to fit a square peg in a round hole with Eddie poor bugger. The Scotland midfield on their day are just as dangerous as the French & look how that went. I despair.
I completely missed his name when reading the squad selected.

Bit like watching the match, really.

Gentlemen,we are totally WASTING OUR TIME,  discussing  the Scottish  game ( or any game involving Wales).
My main concern  us injuries  to Scarlets  players.
I am pleased for Costelow,  naturally, but he was injured for Wales v Barbarians on a previous occasion,  and its taken him until now to regain some form.
Just keeping my fingers  crossed
I stood yer on tanner bank

Totally agree pimp. Where i genuinly wish everyone the best, i hope that our boys return unhurt. I havent watched one game yet that involves Wales (highlights, yes). Another thumping on the books.
