I completely forgot about that! Yea that gets me every time, I think it speaks to anyone who's been at a hospital when a loved one is close to the end.

I must have done a top 5 by now so will finish it with Tears in Heaven by Clapton. Subject matter is his young son falling to his death from a balcony, I believe.

Maybe. Thing was that though is that not all sad sounding songs have sad content. This is one of the most melancholic songs I've heard, but it's about being happily married: |

True. And vice-versa. Lots of ska, punk (and even ska-punk) songs are haParc y Scarletsounding but have a pretty dark subject matter.

did you see them in wembley arena few years back? that song live is even better. Jesse really has a way with words when writing his lyrics. a very moving song and tragedy.

I was also in that TJs tour!! Didn't go to Cardiff on last tour as I'd already went to see them in when key with Glassjaw and Thrice. Really epic performance.

Tj's was quality, I saw dozens of bands in there, Buzzcocks/Therapy/Subhumans/Leatherface/Babes in Toyland/Hole/DOA/The Dickies/NOFX/Bad Brains/Dub War and loads more the Special VAT they sold in there has clouded away from my memory:)
