I played age grade rugby vs Marcus he was from morriston/glais way yes very fast good shout.

There was another hooker a guy called Hillman who was v good at sevens, think he was a copper

Rio Dyer at the dragons is supposedly very fast and luke morgan at the ospreys is v fast he just isn't much of a rugby player tbh

Chris Wyatt could move very quickly for a big man.I don't think I've seen a qicker forward play for the club than James Davies, though.

Aaron Shingler? Anyone remember his length of the field interception try out in Castres?
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

Matthew robinson was fast , cuthbert is rapid when he’s in full flow but he takes a while to get going delme williams from neath was sharp prior to his injurys. From a standing start  for me it’s jiffy for me once they are in stride it has to be walker.

and his trys in the cup final for the rfc, he is another long striding guy takes a while to get going but once he's in his stride he is really fast

National standard junior 400m runner I believe. I remember his interview after that match, when asked about running around the winger and full back, he answered "I always back myself one on one in a sprint"!

Shingler is one hell of an athlete. Not seen many quicker over 25 metres than Jiffy from a standing start. There are a multitude of quick guys but not that many who are lightning quick like LRZ.

LRZ is a junior  sprint champion isn't he?

he is really well balanced so doesn't lose speed when he steps a player, ieuan Gerald and shane had that gift

Benny had a great step to and was rapid from a standing start but barry john ghosted past him on the outside in that televised urdd game a while back, he must have been rapid though his languid style made  him look slow!

Interestingly LRZ is getting quicker. He seems to glide past opponents. It takes a lot to make Hogg look pedestrian.

Barry John was deceptively quick, and had superb balance... he would wiggle his hips one way, waggle the ball the other, and as often as not, the defender would find himself on his arse as the 'King' waltzed past! One of the best examples was in the crucial win v France to cement the 1971 Grand Slam, though I have been unable to find good quality footage... this highlights reel shows just the end of John's run at around 4:30...
