15. Ellis Mee 14. LRZ 13. Hennessey 12. Eddie James 11. Adams 10. Edwards 9. Tomos
1. Smith 2. Elias 3. Francis 4. Beard 5. Jenkins 6. Plumtree 7. Mcloud 8. Wainwright

16. Lake 17. Carre 18. Whiffin 19. Carter 20. Cracknell 21. Hardy 22. Costelow 23. Watkin

Don't for one minute think Tandy will select as above with Ben Thomas/Hawkins, Mann being favoured recently. Also I understand that Lake is captain so probably he starts but Elias is the better player at the moment. I would give the long term captaincy to Jenkins but that gets complicated by him not being based in Wales as, of course, it will next season when Jac & Dewi join him.

My thinking is that we need someone like Plumtree to compete with their lineout & that front 5 should insure we don't get pinged too many times as scrum time bearing in mind that England are missing at least two of their usual 4 starting props. Its all about trying to be competitive for as long as possible & not inviting pressure. Lets face facts if we can keep the difference to 20 or less against one of the top two teams it will be  a result of sorts.

Like Mee at 15 GPR...

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

The boy is a natural Lofty. I think they will probably go with LRZ but I have my doubts about his defensive work.

Rhys Davies just got called up to the squad.

Surprised he wasn't in at start really.

Not sure about that but Tandy only chose 1 Wales based 2nd row. So dependent on foreign clubs whether training sessions can work or not.

I suspect Wales will put up a better account of themselves than many think (including England I hope).

A win is out of the question, but a 20 or so point defeat is reasonable.

I agree with that Wil. Don't think England quite have the bench firepower, particularly the front row, to pull away in the final 20 like they did the last game. Baxter & Stuart are big losses. I would also, if I was Tandy be targetting their back row at lineout time with Plumtree & using him at the front on their throw. He is the nearest we have to one of my favourite all time Scarlets Aaron Shingler. Plumtree's biggest issue of course is that he now has, justifiably, a bad discipline reputation.

Only rumours I have heard is that Mann will be playing & LRZ will be deployed at full back.
